I'm in love but struggling how to get my natural hair like this.

Is her hair texture close to yours (can't see your fotki @ work)? If not, I'd suggest a rod set, pulled back with a headband. If so, you have a bunch of products to choose from which would all be trial and error. You could try any number of them with a diffuser or hood dryer to get that look.

You may get a look close to that with shingling but your coils may not be as large as hers. If you want your coils to be as large as hers, then perhaps you could straighten your hair and set on rods or somep'n.

i think that's just a WnG, so if your natural texture is similar you could maybe do it with a leave-in and gel...if not possibly a rod set like Cherokee-n-Black said, or twists set on perm rods, but it wont be an exact match.

my coils are small and shrinkage is a beast. I WISH I could do a decent set.
I'm thinking I'd have to start with a twist out?? I'm not sure where to go with products though. I've been bunning for over year and using shea butter and coconut oil mostly.

I don't have a picture but I used to wear my hair a lot like this transitioning and @ like neck length once going natural to have all my curls alike vs two different textures. I set it wet on perm rods. Let it dry very well. Took them out then separated each curl into two pieces. I used about 4 packs of white rods.
