What do you think?

I promise I have a reason for asking. I'll reveal later. Say everything that comes to mind.

Ok yes I'm a rookie!!! This is my first lf and it's from a BSS. I didn't really apply any of the application tips from the other forum (bleaching knots or the tape trick) because I'm lazy so I was wondering how bad it looks just plopped on my head. It isn't glued or pinned down but I was hoping it didn't look too fake.

I have one coming from a vendor that people seem to like. I'll take time make sure that one is applied better. I'm cornrowed and baggied underneath. I'm hoping to use it as a PS for a full year until next June- my wedding.

Looks nice. You can tell it's a LF but it's not overly obvious. Like, when I saw the pic from afar without clicking on them I thought it was your hair.

For those who immediately knew, what gave it away?

I tried to take the pics all up in the part/ top of my head to mimic what someone would see if they were talking to me face to face and were a little taller than me. I see grids in person but not so much in pics. So what are the obvious LF give aways?

The 2nd pic in the first post did it in for me. But does look good though.

I'm not as good as I used to be in spotting faux hair. The hair game has evolved so. However, I kept looking at your pics saying something is off. The hair in one or two pics did have that plastic/synthetic appearance. But the pic of the back was what stumped me.

I think it's okay. Definitely better than alot of the LFs I see on women IRL with these crazy looking hairlines. Congrats on getting married!

In the first post the back looks real; its nice and full.
The front pic with the the hair looked really shiny. Even though the part looks incredibly realistic the hair line did not although like another poster said it doesnt look bad.

I've heard there are ways to stop a wig from looking so wiggy . You might want to go on BHM, I've heard they are the queens when it comes to wigs/LF

The color is really nice too and compliments your eyes very well.

Truthfully I want to know where you got this because this is the best lacefront I've seen. It makes me want to get one.

I can't tell on the second set but the first set I could. The texture of it is what threw me off first and made me examine closer. Nice one though.

MUCH better than most I see.

1) the hair is a tad shinny

2) LF all have the jump from part to forhead, no hairline, no baby hair so it is obvious

however; it is a nice looking LF

Wow, I was about to say it looked as if you flatironed it . Great application. What the name of it and was it terribly expensive. I like the kind that look as though they're made with a natural part

The part looked a bit off. In the outdoor (natural lighting) pics it looks better, but still not natural.

The lacefront application doesn't look bad to me. The hair itself looked "plastic" to me. I promise I'm not trying to be rude, just honest.

Oh don't worry about it! My feelings won't be hurt. I just bought that wig on a whim from a BSS to get my feet wet before I get the other one that's going to be my "main wig". I am doing the wig a disservice though because I put some heat protectant serum on it which makes the hair look more plastic.

I'm just looking for honest opinions because I'm going to be wearing this wig this weekend. I don't want to walk around looking crazy! My other wig comes Tuesday. Hopefully it will look better- it's light yaki.

I'll use some of those links posted to practice on this wig so it will be perfect for my other wig which I'll be wearing on vacation. Panama here I come!

You want HONEST views? I'm posting this without reading others responses so as not to bias myself.

My view...It's pretty for sure, but it looks fake...like a lacefront with an invisible part. (I think that's the right word for the part.)

Oh I'm all over it. I lived over there before I decided to buy a LF from a chinese vendor. They have some crazy amazing applications that totally changed my mind about LF. I mean people cornrowing their LF and still looking real. crazy.

the hairline...you need to see some of @Ms. Martina's LF baby hair tutorials

idk if she has any tuts for straight wigs, but it should be the same.
Oh yeah I've watched these before. But thanks for posting. I need a refresher.

Keep in mind I haven't really tweaked this wig except for cutting it and spraying some sally hansen under it. It's not even actually applied... just plopped on my head.

I have no clue what to look for but it looks real to me---I think you did a great job.

I'm no expert at LFs, so you had me fooled. I don't see plastic, it looks like real hair.

Even the "crooked part". My DD wears her real hair in a crooked part on purpose

lacefront...and the scalp is kinda off..but way better than the majority of LFs i see IRL.
Really? What do you think makes it look "off"? The color? My scalp is actually lighter than that but if I use my real scalp color, the wig somehow looks faker???? :lachen: I don't know how that works

Not gonna lie, you kinda burst my bubble because I was feeling my scalp in this pic

Thanks!

I wear a diagonal part normally so I was trying to get as close to normal as possible. :yep:

sorry lol...but it yeah its the color...it might not be that noticeable in person though lol...plus i dont think that many people are gonna be all up in your scalp to tell anyways...and if you tweak the hair line, it will be a buffer between your forehead skin and the lace, so the color is not that obvious
