NO! :nono:
She wasn't even 3 yrs old yet, has noooo edges, and all that silky weave up in her hair!
Oh my goodness, that is WAAYY too grown for a child let alone one who's jus' a BABY!

I guess I am a little old fashioned in my belief that weaves are a "big girl / adult" hair style. Three year old children should not wear them, they should stick to "kiddy" styles.

She ain't neva gon have no edges. Shame. The baby looked so sad in the vids. Even she knew it wasn't no right in that. smh :nono:

Why would anyone do something that stupid? She even had the nerve to put up a video defending her actions and says "my baby is a diva just like her momma." So I guess Diva is another word for being Ghetto Fab.

OMG that is just a big NO NO:nono::nono:. Not only that you can see how tight those braids are, it made my head hurt for the poor baby. When you know better you do better. People wonder why kids are so darn grown now days, people really need to stop rushing their kids to grow up. A child should know their place in life.....I'm getting off my soap box.

So sad, her spiral into self doubt and low self esteem begins so early, before tetherball, dodgeball, lipgloss and her menses. #winning.

There are plenty of cute, two year old styles she could have done with the hair her daughter had (left) on her head. I'm assuming the braids are her own hair (but lord knows she could have put in extension braids for "grip" for the sew in) but surely she could have done differently.

That baby has no edges!! NONE!!

You are not the only one. I fully understand now why my mom always said, "Enjoy the things of a kid for now. You have your whole life to be an adult. You only get to be a kid for a short time in life, so enjoy it."

There was not a single picture of that little girl smiling. She looked sad and miserable in EVERY SINGLE PICTURE. :(

They do this mess on toddles and tiaras on TLC, this ish is legal.....SMH

Very true.

I guess the bigger issue for me is the tight braids. That baby is clearly missing a good part of her hairline. Even without the weave that hairstyle would still be cringe-worthy because the braids are way too tight.

Aww this so sad. That baby is so precious, i really hope this doesn't lead to self esteem issues in the future, but the odds are.....:sad:

my  face when I watched that video

What a beautiful little girl  too bad her mummy is crazy! :look: :nono: Clearly she needs some of this :spank: to set her head straight!! SMDH

I just threw up in my own mouth of disgust. Kid is so cute. This is like borderline child abuse! She knows she was doing something wrong .. why disable the commentbox?

The child is a doll. I hate this look on children. Why are they so anxious to have them grow up? There are some pictures of her with hair slicked back without the braids and she doesn't have a hairline.

Sad part is she doesn't get it. Her response video made me even more mad.

- wow that child will have no self esteem growing up and when she is old enough to realise what her mother did I feel sorry for the mother.

On a positive note at least there was no leave out hair and her edges were left out....:look:

3 year old child with

- a weave

- no shirt/top on

- posing with hands on hips

If this isn't an invitation to every child perv on the net I don't know what is. Mom needs to stop.

wavezncurlz Could you post the link of the response video please? Thanks

That's the exact same thing I was thinking! Lawd this woman done turned this baby into a pint-sized hoodrat. Ain't nothin' "diva" about that mess. And it's sad because the girl is soooo precious! Too bad she has an idiot for a mom.
