Does Castile Soap lather on your hair?

Low lather...it doesn't have the extra additives that produces most of the rich lather in traditional shampoos. However, although you will not see the same level of lather, castile soap still cleanses the hair well.

Thanks y'all... From using shampoos with all the additives all my life, I feel like any cleanser that doesn't later then it's not cleaning me well. I have to get out of that habit because now I know better....

I had that same problem ElleB, I wanted lots of lather. I use Dr. Bonner's Castile soap, I dilute it with water because it strong.

Approximately wat is the water to shampoo ratio?

half water and half soap. I use Dr Bonner's Tea Tree castile soap, I mix the soap with water and add a little Tea Tree EO. My scalp feels so good after I wash.

is castille soap in Oyin's Grand poo bar? I'm still trying to figure out why my hair got so dry using this!

I use the Dr. Bronner's Almond Castile Soap. It does lather but not like regular shampoo. I think it's because there aren't as many dyes and detergents. I only use castile soap becuase it cleans my hair and it doesn't strip it the way shampoo does.

I've got some aloe castile soap that I've never cracked open. I know what I'm doing tonight.
