Is there anybody out there in LHCF Land who looks like me? Does/did your TWA look like mine? I BC'ed almost three months ago (from pretty much a shaved head), so I'm still a natural newbie :look: I'm so fed up trying to type and figure out my hair. And yes of course well all know we're sick and tired of typing threads...so go ahead, let me hear all the moans and groans! :spank:

I also want to figure out how to tell if I'm fine or coarse. I may not have enough hair to be %1000 sure but what the heck, right? I tried to take super-close shots of my coilies to get the most accurate pic.

Thanks ladies! I tried to get as close as I could but, yeah we see how well that worked out! Anybody out there who is many years natural and remember a TWA that looked like mine?

I think 4a/b. You have lots of pretty little o's.:yep:

My last really close cut was too long ago but I think it may have been similar. No pics taken back then and I never heard of typing so I didn't pay much attention to the coil formation.

Full disclosure, I'm 4a but have never had a TWA. I have more curls than coils, a mixture of S and O on the LOIS scale. But since I've never had my hair that short, for all I know, it'd be mostly little coils at that length.

You are definitely a 4a/4b mix

I am a 4a/4b mix too, we are cousins. Not twins (your hair appears to be composed of fine hair strands) but we fam though :)

my SO is your hair twin!!! you cant really tell fine or coarse from looking at hair but i doubt you're coarse. most likely fine to normal.

going for 4a. SO is also 4a he has PERFECT little coils. i told him i was jealous lol

he can use one thing in his hair and it's perfect. he uses curl junkie honey butta leave in.

First, can I say: OP you are rockin' that TWA! You look fabulous. Forreal. :yep:

On topic: I agree that you and shortdub78 are hair twins from what I've seen of her TWA pics. :yep:

Congrats!

ms-gg glad to be in the fam! I was thinking the same thing about the fine hair, but I just wasn't sure :)

LayneJ Aww thank you so much! I read that this morning and I just felt all warm and fuzzy inside!

So agree! You look like a diva, in a good way! Loving the TWA on you! :yep:
Aireen Thank you ma'am! I'm like a quiet diva...I only let her out once every blue moon! :lachen:

when i had my twa, it was effortless. i slept with a satin scarf, i cowashed daily, i used giovanni direct leave-in, or kid's organic shea butter detangling lotion, or fantasia ice gel. i shampoo'ed and dc'ed once a week. i would get a lining once a week and get a haircut every two weeks, until i wanted to grow it out.

That pretty much sounds like my twa reggie. I love the simpilicity of it. I really need to step up my co-washing though :ohwell:
