I hope to have the same feeling of joy when I get my KBB package that I've been waiting on for 2 weeks. But do tell about your experience with the Mud shampoo when you try.

This product is amazing. You'll love it! Which 'flavor' did you get?

I have used the mint one for 3 years, and it has never failed me. It makes my curls pop like crazy - I guess it's all that bentonite

I'll post my before and after results :) There is a detox period that your hair has to go through to remove all of the build-up. So I will make sure to keep you all posted :) Also, I purchased some flax seed to try to make my own gel form a recipe I saw on Naptural85's YT page. She also has a couple of videos on Terressentials, that's how I learned of the product.

i just saw that video as well and i am very interested in hearing about your experience. if it works well enough to eliminate the need to deep condition, i would be over the moon! my hair is pretty easy to take care of, but i'm always on the look out for time savers

let us know how it goes:yep:

Okay so I washed 3 times as mentioned in the directions. It was soo late when I finally washed I didn't take the time to take pics. I'm going to wash again tonight and take some pics. But so far it's definitely a different experience. I was expecting a lot of slip which I didn't get, but the instructions that came with it said it make take a while for the mud to remove all of the product buildup. So your hair may feel a little rough as it's doing this. But after I finished washing and rinsing I noticed a difference in my hair immediately. All I can say is defined clumped elongated curls.I couldn't believe the results it was way different from what I expected. My hair naturally separated and where defined. I felt like I could do a true wash and go with absolutely no other products. It was weird yet good all at the same time. Right after I put a little shea butter and coconut oil on my hair bantu knotted and went to sleep. When I woke up my hair was Super soft and still had defined curls. Out of habit I put jamaican black castor oil on my ends and topped with a little argan oil. The only bad thing was how long it took to receive my shipment. It took almost a week to finally receive. With something this good I know I will continue to use but I hope all my future shipments wont take as long.

Here is the link: http://www.terressentials.com/ It includes all info regarding the detox process and ingredients. Also, it's cost $10.75 for 8oz and shipping was $8.75. I purchased the Lavender Garden and Cool mint. I tried doing Naptural 85's method of mixing a tablespoon to water and apply to wet hair. This didn't work for me because the application process was too messy and I got mud all over my bathroom. So I use about a quarter size on each of my 4 sections in the shower. I work through my hair let it sit for a few minutes then rinse and repeat two more times.
My hair still has no slip but I noticed my hair looks really lush and vibrant esp after drying. I recorded vids with the hopes of uploading on YT. I'm going to try to post the raw footage so you all can see first hand.

Did you have to use a lot and how does this differ from regular bentonite clay?

It's just bentonite clay and av juice w/ some extracts -

Organic aloe vera juice°, clay minerals, organic extracts° of organic linden flower°, organic nettle°, organic chamomile° and organic shavegrass°.

I've been going back and forth with getting this stuff for awhile...but the shipping turns me off.

Agreed. I was tempted to try this until I saw the shipping! I just can't wrap my head around spending $19.50 for one 8oz bottle of mud. I am glad to see reviews on it though, and maybe if it's ever available through other outlets (locally, or somewhere with less shipping) I'll give it a try, but for now I think I'm going to try some bentonite clay and maybe mix it with some AV juice that I have in the fridge.

I am glad that you like it though, OP. It's always nice to find something that works for your hair!:yep:

I wonder what the pH of the wash is as well since the pH of bentonite is pretty high, but av juice has an acidic pH.
