I don't like how it feels on my hair after I let it sit. I'm thinking of applying it to my hair, letting it sit for an hour or so, then going to my regular regimen of wash, condition, rollerset. I don't co-wash.

So basically I'd be treating it like a pre-poo treatment. I know the point is for it to be a leave-in, but has anybody tried this method?

i don't use it as a leave-in because it is a protein conditioner. i use it as a protein treatment. if you are using it for growth, apply a little bit to the scalp, not the hair. you can mix it with an oil too an apply it this way as well.

^^^Right; I meant leave in for the scalp. I already have light proteins in my conditioner (Suave humectant) and leave-in (NTM). I know it's kinda expensive to just wash out lol but was wondering

oh ok. yeah, try mixing it with some oils, that might help. i'm using it now for a little patch i'm trying to grow back. i just use it straight, but in the past, i would mix it with castor and rosemary oil.
