I'm having conflicting feelings. My hair looks up to yours and is silently crying as we speak 
but I can relate. There were times I just couldn't take it anymore and cut my hair. I know the feeling of a fresh cut....the freedom.....the excitement. It's like riding a motorcycle on an open highway. The possibilities are endless when you ignite the excitement for your once boring hair. So part of me weeps but the other half applauds your brave decision to cut some of the most beautiful hair i've ever seen. God Speed

Ok, here is the deal....
Imma go to bed now, when I wake up, I will start a thread about how I had this dream that sparklingflame was viciously chopping off her hair and we all felt like ours hearts were being ripped out and how I then woke up and was so relieved to realize it was all just a dream.

I remember ya'll on NP too.
I found NP in 04 I think it was when it was only like 3 pages, one of which was explaining what a BC was. I was like "Huh! So thats all you have to do? Just chop that **** off???" A week or so later I chopped it all off. It was chewed up anyway. But yeah Ms GG, I did that PSC for about 6 months strait!

. I hope you enjoy your new hair Girl, DO IT! I often contemplate going back short and my hair is no where near your length. To me, short hair feels dang good. I have often said, if growing my hair becomes too much of a hassle, its back to short I go.
