I love headbands too! I have one on right now. I can only wear certain ones though because they tend to make me look younger.:nono:

I will add more later.

I am a collector of headbands. I will take pics. I have been slowly giving up the ones that sit right on top of your head, really hard plastic, metal. They don't work with my natural hair. I've been giving them to my coworker and her daughters. They love it. I primarily use ones that are elastic or have elastic as part of the headband.

I love headbands but i rarely get around to wearing them.

Here's a couple that I actually have pics of but they're nothing fancy. I'm actually inspired to pull out some of my others and take pics.

I also have headbands that I hang on my towel rack but I couldn't get a good pic of those.

So I keep the ones in the first pic in one drawer of one of those three drawer bins in my bathroom. The hairties are in the bathroom too. As you can see I'm using office accessories for storage. Works for me.

Happy Hair Growing!

Luv. This. Thread. Very inspirational for me since I tend to stick to the plain black headbands.

Have no real contributions but just wanted to say I totally understand the love of headbands. When I'm no longer on student wages, I'm definitely dedicating a healthy section of my closet to costume jewelry & hair accessories  ❥them!!

Aside from Etsy, BleuDame & HairCoverings are on my 'to shop' list when that time comes. :drunk:

Great post OP. I love the headbands ladies. I don't wear headbands much, like for other ladies they hurt my head. But I do wear a lot of scarves and loc socs. I found great scarves at Cato's this weekend for $5.99 in great colors and styles. So I will be on a scarf mission for the rest of the month. And the loc socs are just plain easy to match with anything - those are great for my lazy, lazy days.

I do want to try making my own hair accessories.

I am subscribing to this thread: Great hair accessories and great hair.

I LOVE headbands too. I have a make-up drawer and box full. They're the easiest way to accessorize

Guys check and see if you have a Charming Charlie's in your area. Its like an accessory and hair candy-topia lol. I went the the first time this past weekend and was in heaven. The head bands are about $7.50 and so cute and they have every color you could imagine. (the entire store is color coded by section). I'm in Atlanta... the one I went to is in Snellville @ the Avenue.

After going through this thread, I have decided that I need to accessorize more with my hair...Lovely thread!!!
