I have the Curl Enhancing Smoothie, the Curl & Style Milk, the Deep Treatment Masque, & the Restorative Conditioner. I find that my hair has to be sopping wet when I use these, that helps with the slip. I also leave it in for 10 minutes before attempting to detangle. I really like them & you get a lot for the price. And I love the smell of these! I use them all together so I don't know if that helps too!

i purchased the curl and style milk during the xmas holiday and found it to be fine.....but a friend gave me a sample of komaza care's shea hair lotion and that works even better! once i finish this product i'll buy the komaza care one. i use this product to detangle my natural hair and as a leave in before applying gel for my twistouts.

i purchased the Curl Enhancing Smoothie and it is alright. i like it for twistouts. it didn't enhance anything, but i wasn't buying it for that purpose anyway. i wanted it more for moisture. it works well with KT underneath and my Oyin Juices and Berries.

Update:

I've been using the curl enhancing smoothie for a little over a month now. I've found a process that works ... Co-wash, cantu leave in, curl enhancing smoothie then my olive oil/castor oil mix to seal and for shine. I do this on days when I don't want to use eco styler gel.

I still don't think I'll repurchase because I have a homemade shea butter mix that serves the same purpose.

I love these products. Especially the deep conditioning mask. I have 4A/B hair and my hair just loves it.

So far its been useless, but I may try it in place of my shampoos. Its been sitting on the shelf collecting dust- but I may finally hv a use for it since I'm giving up shampoos...
I purchased and tried the deep conditioner and its crap. I wonder if I can return it to Target.

I have the Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner. I tried it on my 4b hair as well as my daughters 4a hair and didn't like it. I think this product would be better for the summer months so I'm going to wait until then to use it. It should be much better then.

I have both the curl enhancing smoothie that I use as a leave in and the deep conditioning masque. I love both. They are my staples now.

I wanted to add, and I know it's been mentioned on the boards before, that Shea Moisture products will be available at some Walgreens beginning April 1st and later on nationwide.

I love the Curl Enhancing smoothie as a moisturizer and leave-in. For whatever reason in my area (Jacksonville, FL) -- Target does carry the product line, but not this particular product and I've checked all Target's in my area.. the product barcode/sale tag isn't even there for the Curl Enhancing Smoothie, so it's not like they carry it and it's always sold out -- they don't carry it, BUT carry all the other Shea Moisture products!

Anywho-- after hearing that Walgreens will have it, I emailed them and told them about how Target doesn't carry one of their most popular products; so it would be nice if they carried it! Well less than an hour later I received a call from a local manager here, that wanted to clarify the exact product I was talking about so that he could make sure it was ordered and they'd have it in stock by April 1st.:grin::grin:

So if you want to make sure "your" local Walgreens is carrying the Shea Moisture line, just hit them up on their website or customer service.

i love the Curl Enhancing Smoothie for my DD. i just spritz her hair with water, apply it and it keeps her hair moist. her hair loves oils. she is 3b/3c.

{RAISES HAND} Love Shea Moisture! I have the CE Smoothie and DT Mask...I will be going back to get the conditioning hair milk, shine spray, and some of their natural soaps. My SuperTarget has been straight selling out of the CE Smoothie. The smoothie I use as a daily moisturizer, and seal with oil over top, and the mask I use as a deep treatment and also leave some in. Last nite I left some in, and my hair is so soft and the curls are def. poppin!

The CE Smoothie DOES NOT DEFINE CURLS, however, and it did make my hair shrink a bit more than usual when I tried a WNG. The DT Mask I like, but I expected it to go on thicker than it did. I can see why some ladies said it did nothing for their hair, but b/c I ALWAYS follow a DT up with a reg. conditioner, that may be why I like it! :yep: So, as another noted, this DT mask was getting some help from Suave Coconut or Aussie Moist.

I will def. take Amazhaan 's advice and email/call my local Walgreens! I want to get an extra tub of smoothie in case I go to re-up after running out, and it's sold out at my SuperTarget! The natural ladies around here are not sleeping on it, I realized last week their mask and smoothie products are flying off the shelves. I hope to find it online too, but I'd hate to pay shipping on something I can go buy at a store.

I bought the shampoo today, but I feel some type of way about spending 10 bucks on a shampoo. I've used it on other people and I like it but I dunno. I think I'm going to stick to Trader Joe's.

The Shea moisture deep treatment masque sucked the life out of my hair. Never again..smh

i re purchased the smoothie a few days ago. i had it before but sold it because the smell was too strong for me. i now that ive mastered my braid out i will use it on that.

i've been trying out the organic raw shea butter restorative conditioner

as a conditioner it fails big time

but as a leavein? its actually quite nice. I had been looking for something to use as a leavein that doesn't leave m hair greasy. This makes it feel nicely moisturized without leaving a gross feeling behind.

I purchased the curl milk hoping to use it in place of Oyin'w Honey Dew...not even close. It did nada foe my hair, same with the shine mist. Took them back to the store.

Now the deep treatment masque with a steamer made my hair quite happy. Tried it as a leave-in...not so much luv. Used diluted as a spray with water...bingo.

The Curl Smoothie provided too much hold when used straight. Mixed 50/50 with the Honey Dew...PERFECT for my braidouts!
