Yes, she was heavily dependent on her weaves and talked about it in the "Good Hair" movie.

There's nothing wrong with wearing the weave as a protective style. Her hair would be a mess from all the heat, manipulation & poor styling practices.

Her lifestyle is not conducive to wearing her natural hair daily. She has a look and a style that is part of her brand. She's a big girl and she knows what's best for her. I like her look with and without her weave

Her curls are beautiful. I don't like her with her natural hair short. But love it long. Anyway, she is under some powerful lights and constantly have people in her hair combing and styling it. The weave works better for her. I am glad to see that she takes care of her natural hair under the weave.

IDK where I read her saying she recently cut her hair due to a bad weave...I need to find the link; she also says she had/has a bad weave addiction and that has messed up her natural hair in the past but that she has taken to wearing her natural hair out as much as possible...it was some interview she was doing.

Anyway, her hair is pretty and she looks great with or without the weave; I just feel like sometimes she chooses the wrong weaves and that throw off her whole look and she's such a pretty girl...
