OMG don't play with my emotions creme of nature. BEST SHAMPOO EVER, nothing has ever come close to it. and they better not change a thing either.

I don't like the way the posts sound....almost.....condescending. AS IF! Please, they are HURTING and need to quit perpetrating and bring the formula back already. Stop baiting and teasing man! I LOVED that shampoo! (and, I don't "love" shampoo...ever)

I agree, it was not just that it was moisturizing, it was also detangling! When I was natural and relaxed, it was liquid gold. Plus it lathered well so it lasted a good long while.

if they take the parabens & formaldyhede donors out but its still the same quality, i'm all over it. i'll just have to clarify once a month as i noticed buildup with it over time......creme of nature is a classic they were fools to change the formula. folks just don't realize if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!

I hope they bring it back. I always find myself looking for it even though I know it's not there. I'm so over that kiwi citrus mess they tried to sell us. It's like when Coca Cola changed their formula.

Back in 2008, I heard that all of the original formulas were going to be discontinued, so I stocked up on the 32 ounce bottles (ultra moisturizing/detangling formula) whenever Sally's had a sale: $5.99. I always bought 2 each time, so I have a lot of shampoo to last me for years to come.

Now it's hard to find any Sally's in Los Angeles that sells it. However, I still see all the original formulas of Cream of Nature shampoos at Asian beauty supply stores in South Los Angeles.

If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have bought so many (9 liters); but the prices at the Asian stores aren't as reasonable as Sally's sale prices. Plus, my stylists doesn't want to use anything else on my hair except this shampoo.

Other excellent hair care products that have been discontinued are still here in Los Angeles.

I've been praying for 2 years that I'd hit the mother load. I have half a bottle left and I nearly hollered when I found my mom going in my stash and of everything she could pick, she just HAD to use my Creme of Nature :lachen:.

This shampoo was my favorite and the smell was heavenly. I wish they wouldn't put a twist on it and just bring back the old stuff and quit playin'. Saying we're holding on to the past? Well there's obviously a reason.

I'm old school...I grew up on Creme of Nature...every Sunday, I leaned over that kitchen sink while my mama shampooed my hair. When I think back to the years my mother and I used Creme of Nature....our hair was HEALTHY....long and beautiful. As time passed for whatever reason we both moved on to other products. A friend of mine gave me an old bottle of Creme of Nature and as soon as I used it ...I could have SLAPPED myself for ever using anything else... I told my mama, I was using Creme of Nature again and needless to say she went back too...she called me and was like..."Girl, it's the best ever, I don't know why I ever stopped using this stuff~

They need to quit playing and hurry up and bring it back. This is a prime example of the saying, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' People need to learn to leave well enough alone.

I sure hope the news is that the ORIGINAL formula is coming back and you have also made a version with ARGAN oil! :) Pretti please.....fyi I LOVE the Argan oil line it's a staple...a shampoo will make it complete!

And this was Creme of Nature's response:

;-)

So my guess is that they are bringing back the original formula and are also making a version of the original with argan oil. BTW the heck is up with all the secret hints...just come out with it already!! :lachen:

I found one of the old blue and white bottles, which is pretty good too,in a bss today that I had never been to. Shole did scoop it up. They need to hurry it up already. That stuff better be on its way to the shelves by the time they make their announcement. Shoooooot.

You speak blasphemy!

 jk, they are/were über moisturizing and a tad "build-upy", which is better or worse depending on your styling choices.
I understand why some people hate it, though I'll never agree..

All I know is that for 10 years every summer I washed my hair twice a day because I was on swim team...if I had to use a regular shampoo and not CON I'm pretty sure I would have been bald.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Green Ultra moisturizing version either. I actually still have half a bottle of sitting in my hair closet. I prefered the version in the Red & white bottle.

Napp sadly, my hair didn't like it either. My hair felt coated and stiff after using it. I wanted to like it so bad, I wanted the angel tears results like everyone raves about. Maybe I'll try it again, if it makes a comeback.

I was on the swim team too! I didn't know about CON back then but I can see how it would've been fabulous.

See - that coated feeling was what I loved! :yep:

is it bad if i said i dont want the "new twist" ... just give me my old shampoo back!

I know right..lol.. They need to make the original version with the same formula and then a separate bottle with the new twist. I think if they add the new twist to the old formula it may be a FAIL.
