So I've been getting frustrated with my natural hair. Tired of wash n go's and just tired of having to deal with it daily. I had a few bags of hair for Kinky twists at home so I decided to give it a try. Initially I wanted them to be short so I started by cutting the hair in half then i discovered that my hair was actually too long to do this.

So some of my twists are short  due to that first bag I divided in half but its my first time doing these so you live and learn. Let me know what yall think.

I like them . Wen i first bced i used to do those, its a easy protective style.

How do you keep it from stressing your hairline and thinning your edges?

Well, I understand that sometimes we need to give ourselves a hair break but I don't think the twists do you justice. They disguise how pretty you are. I think shorter would look better, but even then, I don't know.

Several months ago I did mini twists on my natural hair (no extensions) and they lasted a good 3 weeks, were convenient and I got tons of compliments. We have similar hair and I think you could probably do the same and look great. Anyway, enjoy your hair break...I really do understand. :yep:

Well, for me I think its important to not pull too tight along the edges. Don't make them too small and redo the edges after 2-3 weeks if you get build-up.

You did an excellent job. I have some bags of hair somewhere that I need to try on myself.

Those are beautiful twists and they look good in u

I like the long twists and they look very nice on you!:yep:
What brand of hair did you use?

I love them! When I do mine this weekend, I'm going to make them longer and use Kanekalon for a "Senegalese" twist...great inspiration!

They look fabulous. You did a fantastic job. And you will be able to wear a lot of different styles by having them a longer length.

How long did it take you?

Great job, u look beautiful with them

Good job they look great - you should be pleased. I'm huge fan - been in twists for over a year, I find they're very versatile and not too harsh on my edges and can be washed regularly.
