Has anyone tried this product? What do you think?

I just received mine on Friday and I havent exactly tried it yet. Sad story though, when I opened up my package, I was sad to see that one of the jars had cracked and the product had spilled out of it:nono: I have emailed Qhem, I hope something can be done about this. Also there was this waxy substance from the top of the lid that somehow peeled and got mixed into the product. Its not terribly bad, its just at the top and I think I can take it out. I am more concerned about the fact that some of the product spilled and went to waste.

I think I will love this product, but I hope this can get sorted out.

Anyway....Any reviews of this ladies?

never heard of this product for hair. i just heard of moringa 3 weeks ago at a farmer's market. some dude tried to tell me it cures diabetes and obesity and a bunch of other black folk illnesses.

@TYR - hey buddy *waves* moringa is good for those things, i dont know about "cure" per se, but it helps with treatment. i know someone that's really been helped with their diabetes with it and it lowered by blood pressure tremendously.

heard it's good for the hair too *excited smile*

WOW, ladies Qhem has good products and excellet customer service!
She refunded me for the broken jar with the quickness, no hassle what so ever.
I find more and more things to love about Qhem.

Ok, now any reviews? I used the product with another product, so I am not able to review yet.

I used it as a detangler and only needed less than 2 oz for my entire head. Love that stuff! Might be able to use it as a lighter leave in in the hotter weather.

bumppity bump

anymore reviews on this. I wud look on Qhemets site but its down.

I fell asleep last night with my hair loose with my satin bonnet (something I never ever do, but I was way too tired to bun it), when I woke up this morning my hair was a tangle mess, matted on some sides. I figured it was a good time to try the Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee and let me tell you that my hair untangled with ease and I only used about a nickel size on each of my four sections. I hope that there is nothing seriously wrong with her site and gets it running, and I'm hoping that she has a Valentine day sale, and if the Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee is as good as the Moringa I will be stocking up.

ETA: Leaves my hair soft after washing as well.

Ok, for my hair which is thirsty, thick, 4a hair-

-I used it last night to detangle my dry hair. It wasn't hard to detangle but I had to use quite a bit, at least 1/4th of the bottle.
- My hair was still very moisturized this morning.
-It comes in a pump which is very convenient because it's a liquid.
-It's not as thick as the cocoa tree. But it's a good DC.
-It smells like lavender.

I dislike the smell of lavender and I used quite a bit to detangle my hair so I'm not going to purchase it again. I think it's a great pre-poo/DC especially since it has coconut oil in it but I liked the Cocoa Tree's smell and thickness more.

oh its a liquid?

I love the coco tree ghee, i thought it was the same consistency
I have a 2 oz sample and it's not really a liquid. It's like a light watery conditioner. The smell is different then what I'm used to so I don't know what to call it. It's nothing bad but a whiff of it will linger in your nose for a bit. It's not strong so, hopefully, it will dissipate when applied to my hair.
Haven't tried it yet so can't review it.

I recently used this product 2x over the past week.

I'm relaxed thin/fine, 4b - I love this product to detangle and moisturize my hair. The scent is strong, but I don't mind it because it's natural Lavender.
I've used it as a detangler on wet hair and lost very little hair on 8 weeks post touch-up-hair. The following day, I took apart my twists and my fine, flyaway hair was shiny and smooth. My hair retained the "waves" created by the twists all day. Oh, I had cleansed and conditioned with Oyin the first time and the second time I used it was after using Wen which does wonderfully on it's own, but this Ghee was an added benefit.

I will repurchase.

i love this stuff! melts my knots and tangles with easy. i got the sample size and have used it 3 times and still have some left. i need to order some more like this week.

unless someone wants to swap for a full size of the Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm?

I have the 2oz but will get the large size next.
I like my balm but this Ghee is the ish!

I was not impressed. I used it as a DC, detangler, and leave in. I also had to use quite a bit for it to help. My hair was in the transition stage so about 30% relaxed and 70% 4a/b natural.

I think my hair is anti-Qhem. However excellent CS.

This is an awesome all round product. I've used it as a DC, prepoo, moisturizer and leave in and the results have always been soft hair. On my hair it works best as a leave in in the colder months since my hair prefers some glycerin in summer. As with all of QB's stuff a little goes a long way.
