Essence's hot hair issue with Monica on the cover

Did any of you ladies buy Essence's hot hair issue with singer Monica on the cover? Is it worth it? I'm asking because I live outside of the States and we didn't get that issue over here, but if it's really worth it maybe one of y'all can help a sista out lol.

I have it, love it and definitely think it's worth it. I still buy hair magazines periodically and suprisingly the hair issue was one of the best hair magazines I've ever gone through. It was quite diverse in styling and education for natural and relaxed heads.

Unfotunately it's no longer on newstands in my city.

Essence has a lot of helpful information too. I think you can always order a back issue, or check with a good library.

I feel the same way...veeeeeryy backwards and desperate sounding BW. I gave up Essence MANY years ago. No quality in moving forward.

I have it and I like it. As far as the articles went, I didn't learn anything new that I didn't already learn from here but it was chock full of hair style ideas and inspiration.
