When I first bought this product I hated the smell, I didn't even want to use it.

But later I discovered WC was the best conditioner in the world. I'm so in love with it that I even like the smell.

For those that can't stand it, I usually dilute AO conditioners because they're so expensive with coconut cream/milk or another conditioner, and find that the smell isn't that strong but gives (nearly) the same results.

I think AOWC has a minty smell. I could see where some people might think it smells like Bengay, but it doesn't bother me. I'm DCing with it right now for the first time - overnight/baggy. Now AOHSR took some getting used to with its incense smell but I've grown to like it.

It smells good to me...its just TOO STRONG! I wish they'd tone it down a bit, cause I love the conditioner.

It smells like sage and earthy something or other. I hate the smell and I'm still on the fence about the performance. The smell lingers around too. After this one is done I'm going back to AOHSR.

I don't like the WC smell either. I forced myself to use that bottle up with the quickness. GPB doesn't smell all that great either, but I can deal with that one better than the WC.

The smell doesn't bother me! I use hsr and wc and gob. They are good alone but when I mix the hsr and wc and add 2 tablespoons each of avj and hemp seed oil. My hair is soo soft! I love the combo more than anything.

UGH!!! Yes, I hate the smell. I bought it because they were out of Honey Suckle Rose, but the smell was making me nauseous so I had to return it. I couldn't take it. I love me some Honey Suckle Rose though, the smell is wonderful.

I don't particularly care for the smell, but it's not nauseating or anything, and it fades away when my hair dries. I use it because it works very well as a DC that I leave in.

aohsr smells good to me but its really strong and lingers...aogpb smells like mens cologne or aftershave...but its better than the strong scent of oranges i get from ors replenishing, and those are the only 2 protein condishes my hair will accept...i havent tried aowc...but im pretty sure it has a strong smell too...i kinda wish they didnt have those protective seals so i could smell before i buy lol

I want to try this. Is it really that good? I don't mind earthy smells but very loud florals/musky scents bother me.

I liked it better than the Honeysuckle Rose, but I would describe it as a loud floral/musky scent. I liked it enough it made me want to write to Aubrey Organics asking that they cut down on the scent.

AO products in general tend to smell like a grandma .. not bad at all just very floral and "perfumy". OP maybe you could try adding some essential oil to mask the smell?
