i dont even think they were tryna be malicious. they probably just saw her pic on the net or google images (without knowing who she is) and probably thought it was a weave and would be good for the page considering the title. anyways its still never ok to use someones pic w/o they're permission, so i hope it gets taken down.

That's crazy. The pic they chose makes it look like she is wearing a half wig which bolsters the false claim that her hair is fake. Seems to have been done maliciously.

Bublinbrnsuga has sent me a message on youtube and indicated she has attempted to fill out an "unauthorized use form" however they were asking about why the pic was in violation so Iam not sure if it has worked for her. Any suggestions on how she should go about this she has asked me however I am not sure myself as this has not happened to me. She indicated she is not on LHCF anymore.

Tell her to tell them that the use of that picture is copyright infringement. There is another page advertising some hair growth gimmic serum and they are using Ms. Kibbi and some other LHCf members pictures. He has also sent the unauthorizes pic form in but I don't know the status. Try and get a personal email address and send the offender a cease and desist letter.

If you can get an actual name and address that's even better. Tell her to also take a screen shot of the page. Tell fb that that user is in violation of their user license agreement due to using infringing materials (havent read it but theyd be pretty negligent if they did not have a clause that said users are prohibited from posting picture they do not own the cooyrights to) and demand they take the page down.

Also have her google cyber crimes. I know it's against the law to open a page under someone elses name but I'm not sure if it's a separate offense(other than copyright infringement) to use someone elses pics like that.

People really don't understand that just because a picture is online that doesn't means they have the right to use it however they please. This is exactly why I closed my fotki album.

I'm sorry I think its malicious because of the title and the picture they used. If I didn't know Bubblin I would assume its a weave because the way her hair is pulled back and her edges look a little sparse in the pic. Thank goodness we all know she has a gloriously beautiful mane thats all her own.

Thank you! It is obvious to me. A title like that with only one picture up? Come on now. Pages on fb that i have come across clowning people with weaves have tons of pics and hundreds of friends. This seems personal to me.
