I guess it all depends on how you look at it. I don't have a problem with shrinkage because I know thats a part of the deal. But if you are still adjusting to your natural hair and are use to having long straight or semi straight hair and seeing length it is going to be an adjustment. Because the length is often times there but it can be discouraging if seeing length (as opposed to knowing that it is there) is something big to you. I think the further along you are and the more comfortable you get with accepting yourself and your hair it starts to become a real minute issue.
