This is where I'm trying to get back to or even longer... I took my hair for granted. I did not have the knowledge that I have now and I wasnt moisturizing as much as I should have been which caused massive breakage and I was forced to cut it to shoulder length. I will get back there if it's the last thing I do! (sorry for the deer stuck in headlights look , I was caught off guard lol)

Surely you'll reach that lenght and longer again!
I hope so...Back then I wasnt doing the moisturzing and sealing thing. I did not know anything about JBCO not to mention Protective Styling...My hair just grew. So I figure now with everything that I know it should be longer and healthier.

Is that your current length in the siggy? It is so thick and looks really healthy. Now that you've gone through such a huge setback, you'll learn from your mishaps and grow it back to its former glory or even better. Girl, I feel your pain. You're re-starting with a nice length and healthy head of hair.

wow that was a beautiful head of hair you had there.
It's all good though, now that you have the knowledge to care for it properly...it's going to come back 2x's better.....remember? God doesn't make mistakes...apparently he meant for you to have that setback and find your way to these hair-boards for a reason....and here you are! Who know's what kinda of 360 your hair is going to undergo THIS time around :yep:

Yes that's my current length....You are right I am learning from my mistakes I'm doing everything that I did not do back then... The only difference is my hair will be thicker this time around. I cant wait:grin:

You know that your hair can grow and retain, so it's just a matter of time! You will be back there soon and your hair looks so healthy now!

I know you want the length... but your hair in your siggy is much thicker and healthier looking so maybe the setback was a blessing in disguise.

Thanks Janet....it was long then but nowhere as thick as it it now...That JBCO is something else.

This is true...I was just telling Janet even though it was longer then it was nowhere as thick as it is now.

As others have stated. Your hair looks good. You can get back to where you were in 2008. Protective styling, may get your there quickly. If you haven't already, check out some of the threads on "protective styling". Most relaxed women who have long hair use little to no heat. That might be a challenge for you, but the proof is in the pictures.

Thank you ...I will look into that now...
