Ugghhhhh...

If you are feeling frustrated with your hair hide it or do something with it until the feeling passes. I 'effed up a 5 month transition yesterday because I got bored with my hair. I woke up this morning and wanted my new growth back. Now I have to start all over again! :wallbash:

I'm so sorry. I felt so bad for you just reading your post.

Thanks for the warning. At least now you wont fall for the temptation again.

I was five months post which is the longest I had gone without a relaxer since I relaxed when I was 13 years old.

Sorry you had that weak moment and returned to the creamy crack. You have all of us to cheer you on during this next transition. You can do it!:yep:

It's okay. Just start again when you are ready, and when you feel urge to jump headlong in to a jar of relaxer, come on here and make a thread about it, LOL...we'll talk you down off the ledge if you want us to :-). Until then, enjoy your hair in all its swingin' blingin' glory!

Don't be so hard on yourself at least now you know you can transition and what technique will work for your hair. I did the same thing last year in August which I had been transitioning for ten months and I got depressed/frustrated because my hair started to shed like crazy so what did I do...permed my hair. Of course this didn't fix the problem but what I did learn was that it wasn't the transition that caused my hair to shed but the product I was using.

Just set a new goal for yourself and move forward......

AAW It's ok! That's how I felt after my last relaxer....although I had only gotten rid of 13 weeks of NG. But don't worry! Time will fly past and your beautiful curlies will be back soon!

Aww I'm sorry OP! :( Start over when you're ready :yep:

I've been transitioning for the past 6 months and yesterday I got a sew-in because I couldn't take the 2 textures anymore. I don't like feeling these tracks; I miss my hurr :nono:

Sorry about your hair :( maybe next time you could reach for some BKT to see growth. At least with BKT if you don't like it u can wash it out over time.

 Sorry to hear that, but on a good note at least you know what it feels like to transition and it might not be as hard the second time around. This time u can also say that you're completely ready.

Sorry to hear that, hon! Don't sweat it. Start afresh and stock up on conditioner like someone mentionned above! :bighug:
