Okay, I went back and looked at all four videos. First off, I do not think he violated youtube guidelines. He did not steal your pictures; he did a screen shot of the response video that you did directed at him. Having everyone flag his video is excessive. You're basically harassing him because you disagree with him.

The Sesame Street video is annoying. You disagreed with his view point on it, but so what? Why can't he have his own views? It's "you" tube - each person expressing his or her own views. I agree with him that I'm so tired of the constant focus on trying to "prove" that we loooove our hair, or focusing all of our self esteem on hair. We need to be teaching little girls to love themselves, not their hair.

Since most people probably didn't take the time to look at all of the videos, I went back and did a quick synopsis of each one...

While MANY are jumping on the bandwagon about Sesame Street's latest video "I Love My Hair" I see this as being STEREOTYPICAL and singling out BLACK FEMALES from other races. Like black women are the ONLY ones that use hair products and go extra lengths to look good. Knock it off!
1. He also said it is a “fact” that other races have better hair, as in not as rough, etc.
2. There is no reason why black people have to be “all natural” when other races don’t.
3. They are singling out blacks and reinforcing negative stereotypes about black people being insecure with their hair.
4. He’s being bashed/called an Uncle Tom for his views.
5. Not all black women are blessed with the type of hair where you don’t have to put anything in it; many black women in Africa don’t do anything to their hair except use all natural products.
6. People are QUICK to jump on the bandwagon and get excited about stuff, but you should look at the big picture.
7. Sometimes black women do go overboard with their hair, but to each her own.
8. All ethnicities should have been portrayed in the video.

6. It was incredibly ignorant for him to say that all races should have been portrayed in the video. You felt like he was reaching for some type of negativity in the video that many people don’t think is present.
7. Talking about the white man who created the skit.
8. You also had an issue with him talking about women should be able to use relaxers, shampoo, etc.
9. ………went on about things you didn’t like about his response video.

I think the fact that people just flagged the video without even watching the whole thing or listening to what he said PROVES his point about how quick people are to jump on the bandwagon without looking at the bigger picture. Also, he was right in that his original video was not aimed at YOU at all.

We can take it all out of context in any which way...as they say it is not the intent it is the impact....

We here are intelligent enough to know if he's making a valid respectful post,...and...he wasn't IMHO... but degrading black women and our nappy hair- is only going to get him the boot. So what we are defensive about our naps. When this simple man is a avatar for our YEARS of struggle against the views on "good"hair...that has left us BW mostly looking a HAM with no hair...I feel darn empowered that I can NATURALLY grow my BLACK afro textured hair down to my arse...Sorry fool you not going to take that away from me AND your getting a piece of my mind... He was definitely wrong on his initial video but your response was snarky as heck. If you really didn't want to go back and forth with a clearly opinionated person, you should have never responded in the first place. & why flag his video just because he showed a screen shot of his video responses and such that had your pictures. Seems to me like you just can't take the heat and you need some back up. The title of this video is misleading and I think you only used it to spark people to automatically side with you and flag his videos. I'm kind of disappointed in you because I thought you had more of a backbone and I like watching your reviews. Be a big girl and handle this by yourself... I mean after all, you did start it.

If you want to get technical, it should be flagged on general purpose because he is singling out Black women and perpetuating racial bigotry, spreading lies about how it is a FACT that the hair they were born with will never be as good as any other races. It equates to racial hatred or intolerance, which is also against the You Tube rules.

Why oh why is it so hard for people to understand that when we say "Natural Hair" in reference to black people we mean. Hair texture that has NOT been PERMANENTLY ALTERED with a CHEMICAL process.

Meaning that on saturday when I shampoo and condition then deep condition my hair the texture will still be the same before I did that. It also means if I decide to flat iron my hair then stick my head underneth the shower it will revert back to it's original pattern (That of course if there isn't any heat damage )

I initially posted his video on my blog, because I was responding to it, so obviously I was going to post what I was responding to...it looks like a picture b/c he took a screenshot of my blog...so no, I didn't do the same thing. The only thing I did was respond to his very first video, then posted both videos to my blog. Not sure why that is so difficult to understand...I haven't even viewed/commented on any of the other videos he has up. I actually commented on his blog and WAS NICE, b/c I did not have an issue with some of those posts, but he started flipping out and trolling people when I blocked him on YouTube, which was the other day, when these previous videos were posted a MONTH ago.

I have messages that he has sent me on YT, and a ton on Twitter (unless he deleted them), but I didn't even look - this is a month old, and I don't need to respond to him. I would rather let it go to YT due to his violation. And by the way, it's not a violation to repost a video that you find on YT to a blog or another site (because that person still gets the views and it links back to their YT), because well, if it were...we'd all be in violation, right?

If you look at my blog, you would see the post and see where I took the video down b/c I know he wants the views on it - that video has the most views of all of his videos. When I referred to him as a stalker, it pertained to the fact that he is STILL coming on my channel making random comments about hair and being combative waaaaay after the altercation was done. Which, I mean...he is, so...yea.

I agree. He seems strange and this whole thing is really silly. You're upset about him posting pictures but you posted his video to your blog and on this site and now having people harassing him over this foolishness. He seems like the type of person who lives for getting people riled up and you and everybody else fed right into it.

I have no problem with rebuttal...I let him comment all up and down my blog, YouTube, and Twitter for an entire week...but there comes a point where you don't need to sit around and battle some YT crazy all day, and when I blocked him he started flipping...some people get really pissed when you reject them, even if it's not sexually.
