So I've been pretty MIA on here since I started school in August but I've tried keeping up with moisturizing my hair and doing DC. I kind of fell off with my vitamins but I'm happy with how much its grown. The first picture is from late June and the rest are from late October. The last two pictures were after almost a week after I got it done (most of the curls had dropped) and I finally got around to taking a picture of it from the back.

I was hoping to be BSL by December but that isn't going to happen. Being 5'10 does not help either. I'm pushing my dates back now. But to keep it positive, its longer, fuller, and healthy so I can't really complain. Oh and I'd just like to say that I've been going to the gym for the past month and I can definitely see a difference in my back from june to october. In june my shoulders looked massive. Lol sorry for going off on a tangent.

GOALS:
BSL by March 2011
MBL by June 2011 (my 21st birthday  )
Ultimate Goal- Have hair long enough to cover the girls just like a mermaid.:lachen:

Quick question though. What products do you use for wash N gos so you don't get frizz but doesn't make your hair hard like a gel or mousse would? I've been struggling with that. Thanks for any responses:yep:

I use a leave-in conditioner (Mixed Chicks) to abate frizziness!

I just tried this product yesterday morning and I am already in LOVE with it. I suffer from frizziness too and I normally don't say anything about a product until at least a few back-to-back trys to give my hair time to adjust but OMG, this really did the trick. I think I may try the actual conditioner next as well.

Beautiful hair! What color, highlights, etc did you get to make it like that?

I got highlights done about a year and a half ago. The hair dresser was an artist when she put them in. They've grown out beautifully. She said they were butterscotch colored but I don't know an exact name or brand. Sorry :(

:congrats: on your progress! I use a leave-in conditioner (Mixed Chicks) to abate frizziness!

Thanks!! I've been meaning to try Mixed Chicks but I have so many products I want to use up before I buy more. But its definitely on my list now.

Oh boy. I might have to buy this sooner than I thought:grin:. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice progress! You have beautiful hair I LOVE the color

Thanks! I actually didn't like it when I first got the highlights a year and a half ago because it was a little too light and made me look older. But I love it now that its grown out more. It gives my curls a nice pop.

Thanks. Your siggy picture makes me drool:lick: When my hair is that length looking all long and luscious like yours, I'll feel complete. Lol.

Congrats on your progress! Pretty hair!

Thank you very much ladies. I'm glad I've been taking pictures because its solid proof that my hair is growing and getting healthier. I had been getting sad that it wasn't getting anywhere.

Thanks for all the positive energy <3
