HAD to get a trim when I saw how my ends were looking after I took the sew in down. They weren't split but they were extremely thin so I'm thinking I had about 2 inches of breakage. I told the lady I wanted to keep my length. She told me that was fine, but she thought I needed layers to make my hair look thicker. I said okay hesitantly and held my breath; thankkkk GOD she listened to me. This is my hair after the trim. It seems like I'm never gonna get to BSL lol.

SN: Is it just me or does my hair look dry? I need to give it a moisturizing treatment? It's not shiny like it usually is. Suggestions? I think I need a protein treatment too since I've been in a sew in for a month and a half.

Hey SK!!!!!

Of course I am not a hair expert, but you probably need a protein ( since you just removed the weave) and good deep moisturizing conditioner....

Your hair looks pretty healthy though!!

Nice! Your hair doesn't look dry to me.

Thanks for tellin me that. I think I'm starting to get hair anorexia. I think it's ugly, short, dry, and etc. Right now I'm whining about being BSL, but I just really wanna have some sexy healthy swangin hair.

Very nice-

How long did you keep your sew in installed for?

6 Weeks. I said I was gonna keep it for 2.5 months, but someone told me my hair was going to matt up, and it had started to itch really badly.

Nice progress!
I don't think you hair looks dry, but i'm also with MRJ-since you've just removed an install, it wouldnt hurt to baby you hair up with a protein treatment-:yep:

Good progress. Your hair looks nice. I can't tell that it is dry but it may be a little dull.

It doesn't look dry, it just aint swangin'. Did she use a lot of oils, and products to weight the hair down?

Nice progress!

Congrats. Are you planning on doing another install again?

Nah I doubt it. I'm scared that it may mess up my ends, and since i have freshly clipped ends I'ma try to KEEP IT that way. So I've been trying to think of what I'm going to do to my hair. I hate buns, but I just might have to resort to that until I get to BSL

Great progress. I always remember your story from way back... wonder what your hair haters/doubters have to say now! Great job :-)
