All right folks! There are 110 days left in 2010. This has been a crazy year :spinning: and I want to end it on a high note.

I'm hovering just above BSL....I mean literally mear centimeters away. For the next 3 months I plan to up my moisture game to HARDCORE :armyhat: I'm going to try this whole "low manipulation" thing  yeah, we'll see how that goes. And PS my rear end off! I've already incorporated steaming (hot towel method) and I won't flat iron again until just before the new year.

Hopefully these basic simple steps will get me to the BSL hump and then over it. So ladies, how do you plan to finish out 2010?

Hmmmm....I am currently in Hide your hair challenge and I will be in partials until November and I am deciding if I will continue to transition without BCing or just take the plunge with a cut and color. I am currently eye length with my natural hair....I am excited though to take the weave out and see if i have retained any length.

I know you will get to BSL, you have sooo much time especially if you are centimeters away! Good Luck!!!

I just trimmed back to between SL and APL, so I want to get back to APL (with even, healthy ends) by January 2011. I plan to wig it up as the weather here gets colder and dryer, only leaving out my hair periodically. Good luck with your BSL goal, you can do it!

Thanks guys! I just figure if I (or anybody) want to obtain my hair goals then it's time to actually put in the work lol!

This is actually what I doing hoping to retain some lenghth! Let see where it gets us during these last 110 days.

The BANG I plan to finish 2010 is Continued Use of Handmade/Natural products by various e-Sellers. I've accumulated a Hefty Stash of these Products (which I incorporated this Spring/Summer) so, I plan to finish them closing out 2010.

I am really enjoying these Handmade/Natural Products and will try to keep my Relaxer as one of my only hair "vices" with alot of chemicals.

Will try to limit even my Salon-Based products (except for my Relaxer) going into 2011.:yep:

I plan to weave until years end. I retained so much growth with my "Indian Sew-in" that I sported for 2 moinths that I will do it again. I plan on really going hard at the gym and increasing my water intake and chlorella consumption even more. I know for a fact this helps with my hairgrowth and my skin is poppin! Oh I must stop biting my nails. I know I know but I started with my protective styling!

I'm upping my moisture game as well. I'm not full BSL, so I hope to be by the end of the year. Also, I plan to keep stretching and PSing until at least June!

Oh, and no more new products! I just organized my stash last night and I shouldn't need anything for months!!!!

Good Luck, Ladies!!!

I'm in the hide your hair challenge until the end of the year. Moisturizing 2x a day and protein once aweek, so we shall see what happens at the end of the year.

I just started to take the hairfinity vits and I'm planning on weaving it up till the end of the year. While in a weave I'll oil my scalp with BT and moisturize with S-Curl. Hopefully this will help me make BSB or BSL by december (crossing fingers)

I'm BSLish/MBL, and I'm trying so hard to get to WL by the end of December. After I finish dusting my ends, it's going under the wig till next April. Hopefully I will be WL or maybe even past by then :yay:

Focusing on keeping single strand knots away. Checking my moisture game and starting to steam maybe once a week. Since I'm in a warm climate I may even start co washing my hair only not scalp. I also picked up the shescentit jojoba hemp shampoo along with probably mill creeks jojoba so I can get my scalps moisture in check. I've finally got a working regimen "besides an hg shampoo" so I'm just going to stay consistent and let it flow.

I plan to wear braids until November (Sept-Nov) and do my protein drinks each day. I might still wear
braids in November and December, but it is kinda cold around here in those two months so I haven't decided fully.

Hopefully I will be at either hip length or close to tailbone length (unstretched).

Yay for this thread!!

I did a length check last night and took pics with my phone. My retention has been horrible this year, and I started to blame it on slow growth until I remembered what I've been putting my hair through :nono:. I've flatironed it 3 times (2 back to back), got a horrible blowout, over-manipulated with bad rollersetting techniques, and a summer of half-butt care. I don't know how I've retained any length at all !!

I'm trying to graze MBL in December and I think I know how to get there. I'm going to do what I did the first year I was natural- wash n'go every day. Not hard, not complicated, and I know it works. I did this during my first year and got 7 in. of growth.

MBL, here I come! :lick:

I'm also hovering above BSL. My goal for year end is to reach full BSL.

Plan of action: PROTECT hair and ends with protective and low-manipulation styles. keep it well moisturized with regular DC's and moisturizing. Hide it from myself and others with halfwigs, phony ponies etc. Use surge&JBCO on scalp religiously

I so want to get to WL by the end of the year! I'm going to be steaming weekly (with my tabletop steamer), rinsing/co-washing 2-3 times a week and wearing updos or buns! I've still got in a set of cornrows and twists I did last week. This way, less manipulation and hide the ends!
Awaiting some pretty half-wigs too that look natural!

im hoping that my weekly steaming will show a marked difference and improvement in the health of my hair before the end of the year

I think i'm almost BSL...if not i'll be there by December. I plan to keep PSing & experimenting with more natural styles while continuing to optimize the health of my hair in these coming months. I'll also flat iron 1-2 times by the end of the year.

Good Luck, Ladies!!!

I just went out and bought a bunch of stuff to start making my own natural products...I'm so excited!

I have no clue - my hair simply refuses to get to APL, and quite frankly I'm just getting fed up right now :(. Considering living a weaved up life...

Don't be discouraged....just take a step back from your hair. That's what I did and I totally changed my perspective.

Amen to that sister!

This is soooooooo my plan too!

I am hovering over bsl right now (1-1.5 inches to go).
I plan to be full bsl or hovering over mbl by January 2011. I steam weekly and cowash 3 times per week. I've also been taking vitamins and using megatek 3x per week and I bun 99% of the time. Grow hair grow!

Any progress or setbacks to report?

My hair is thriving. I am having far less breakage with an moisture only regimen for the last 2 months.
