Even though I don't care for CD all that much, the hair milk is looking miiiighty tempting.

This has to a major turn around from her previous items. Some hope. I like the scent of the tui oil, black vanilla, and the magical line, but her products are blah! How's the Hair Milk? Is there anything special about this line compared to the others she sells? Any thoughts on 4b hair?

Gentle Shampoo for Curly Hair
We love this because it:

Is SLS/SLES/Sulfate-Free

Minimizes tangles and balances moisture with Pro-vitamin B5 (Panthenol)

Conditions scalp and protects from moisture loss with Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate)

Protects from environmental damage with Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

Leaves your curls soft and bouncy--yet completely manageable

PLUS, this has NO Parabens, Petroleum, Mineral Oil or artificial color

don't buy this moisturizing vanilla spray they sell. Ain't nothing moisturizing about it. It has protein in it and leaves your hair harrrdddd as heck. It smells nice tho

Yeah, I bought some before and likewise nothing she sells is worth it. I was just hoping she made a turn around on this.

I gave up on carols daughter a long time ago. Those products cost way too much to not even have quality ingredients in them. Its just not worth. I really wanted to believe jada but I was duped.

^^ Co-sign. I just think her and Miss Jessie's are both too expensive. I've tried a few products here and there and I can't justify the price. And I have given up completely on celebrity endorsements as well. There's really no way to determine whether or not their present state of hair has to do with the product or with the constant professional styling (I know that when I was going to the stylist every 2 weeks when I was younger, my hair ALWAYS looked fabulous and she was using crap in my hair).

I agree....celebs will say and endorse anything to make a buck. I do like Curlz and that's not due to any celebs but because I can get my money's worth out of the products. But I should just stick to what works for me. I really was holding on to the notion that CD's products would come around...but if it sucks, it sucks.

I have some of that stuff. Got it from a product swap table because I kept hearing about it... I've only used it once... :look: I would use it again, but it wasn't all too great the first time I did use it and I'm not too sure if I want to use it again... Like they say, "If it aint broke, dont fix it"

I love the original Hair Milk...it's fabulous applied on damp hair and left to air dry. Great scent, mixes well with other products, leaves hair feeling soft after it's dry.

I haven't tried the new, extended Hair Milk line yet.

^^ ITA I have the orginal hair milk and I really like it, but I dont think I will repurchase anything from the new line.

I have the new hair milk. It has a stong lemony smell to it. I admit it does leave my hair soft when I apply it on dry hair. I think I paid under $20 for it. Its a good daily moisturizer but I don't love it enough to buy it again. I think other moisturizers will work just as well. It isn't horrible in my opinion like other people say.

I love it - I use it for my dry rollersets and my hair comes out beautifully moisturized and holds the curls longer. (I am relaxed Type 4 hair.) It is now one of my staples.

I bought up Carol Daughter's prods like it was going out of business and regret doing so. I will somehow use up the prods purchased but I have found cheaper and better alternatives. I've yet to figure out how to properly use the prods that I have to achieve fantastic results. I have the hair milk but haven't mastered its use just yet. ETA: After I use up my stash, I will not be purchasing any more prods b/c they are too expensive.

I was about to give a thumbs up to the Hair Milk. Did she change the ingredients? The one I have isn't in the milk jug I see in that moptopmaven link.

Anyways. The old (?) hair milk works really well on my 4b and my mom's 4a/b hair.

Hated it! I was very disappointed in all of her hair products. However, her skins products are pretty good.
