Comb Chase Method: What comb do you use?

but I was considering changing to something like this.

I have both (well the second one is slightly different). I got it first..but I love the conair (denman knock-off) the 3-row comb. Works much better for me.

i use a silicone comb with a metal tail.

it was between $1-2 at the BSS. it is high heat resistant, so i can get right under the flat iron.

^^ I used to use a similar one (not sure if it was supposed to be heat resistant) but the steam from my maxiglide warped it. I went out and got a metal comb for heat styling. I think it was $1-2 at Sallys.

I just can't see how the second comb in the OP will work good for me. I need the really fine toothed combs to get my ends seperated and evened out. Where does one get these 3 row combs?

It helps with frizzy/ not completely straight ends. The comb chase method makes a BIG difference for me when I flat iron.

It most definitely does. I didn't know what flat ironing was before the comb chase method. I used to have some seriously frizzy, clingy ends before I used this. I also had more problems with SSK and split ends.

You can get both at Sally's. I made an impromptu trip to Sally's today just to make sure. I have my doubts, too. It reminds of a rat tail comb, which doesn't work as well as the Denman on my hair.

I think I'm still going to buy it, though... or at least the knock off! It looks like it might work when I blow dry. I just started blow drying and I'm trying to get some good tools.

I'm sorry. I can't tell you. I can tell you that it's knock off I googled. Jibere has one very similar to it. I was struggling with those first two picture inserts at the time, so I just got the first comb that looked like. I thought it was good enough.

I was lurking in Westendbeauty's "Flat ironing natural hair (video included)" thread and saw that she used it. She definitely got her hair straight, but idk if it would work for me.

My hair reminds me of a lot of naturals on here. Believe it or not. It's very resistant. I like it that way, though.

Mine is either Annie or Diane. One of the two.

I used to use a denman comb but I get better results with my Denman Boar Bristle brush. It smooths and "polishes".
