Hi,

I haven't posted in the hair forum for awhile now. I pretty much have my reggie down and my hair is behaving.

My reggie is as follows:

Cowash 3-4 times weekly...evey other day when stretching.
Shampoo 2 times a month. **Clarify as needed**
I DON'T DC....:blush::blush::blush:
I trim every 6 months. (April and October)
I relax every 10 -12 weeks.
I use light protein as needed...hair doesn't really care for it.

If I feel like it, I will use Brahmi, Maka, or Amla...with co-washes.
I do low manipulation. Braidouts/ Twistouts...Pinups..Rollersets.
I airdry 99% of the time...in 2-4 braids/twists.
My style of choice are pinned up braid/twistouts.
I flat iron for length checks...and special occasions.
I moisturize and seal 2-3 x weekly (fine hair).
Summer: Vegetable Glycerin & Aloe Vera Juice (mositurize) and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum (seal)
Winter: Castor Oil & Aloe Vera Juice (moisturize)and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum (seal)
Satin scarf nightly, or whenever I rest/lay my head down.
Wide Tooth Comb....I never brush my hair.
I detangle in the shower with a head full of condish under running water.

Products: Giovanni Deeper Moisture Something or other.
Vegetable Glycerin
Castor Oil
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum (or knockoff from Sally's)
Joico K-Pak Reconstructor (or knockoff from Sally's)
Maka, Brahmi, Amla Powders
Neutrogena Anti Residue Shampoo

I'm 5'10...my ultimate goal is MBL...I think I'm about 3 inches away.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!!!! I really appreciate it. I just wanted to say that my hair has never been past SL in my adult life....and I NEVER EVER would have thought my hair would have been this long.

When I first started....I had so many doubts, I honestly belived that my hair would not grow. I doubted it sooooooooooooooooooo much! Not to say that I have arrived or anything...but just want to give everyone some encouragement. YOUR HAIR CAN AND WILL GROW!!

As far as the weight loss...I will post tomorrow (sorry). It's a bit more than I want to post tonite! I'm tired..it's 11:30 in Memphis...and I'm getting old!

LOL
