i used the shea mask on dry hair and i liked it. i wont repurchase it though because i didnt like it THAT much lol.

didnt like the milk but i only used it once so i will give it another try.
the smell of the smoothie is too strong for me to use so i dont know if i like it ot not. i will try it on twists if i can get past the smell.

I've tried the smoothie and I like it a lot.

I can't say if it enhances my curls but it's great for a moisturizer. I'm currently wearing a 1/2 wig for my summer protective style. My hair is in 4 plaits underneath and on Saturday I braided my hair with the smoothie and this morning my hair still felt moisturized (not dry and crunchy with other products).

I have thick 4a/4b hair and my hair drinks up products but this one works...

I do think it's for someone with thicker hair because it's a thick product (and I'm heavy handed with product because my hair drinks up products). Overall, I like it (however, I'm using it as a moisturizer w/braids) so I can't say how my hair likes "out" with the smoothie on it or on wet hair.

I can say it's better than (Shescenti's leave-in,hair milk and butters, Lacio Lacio leave in, KCC knot today leave in, KBB hair milk/butters and Cantu)

I don't like the masque. It has no slip and it left my hair feeling stripped. I didn't even know that was possible w/ a moisturizing masque.

I have been using the SM Curl Enhancing Smoothie for the past 3 days and I LOVE it at this point.....I didn't expect to...because I was so hooked on the HairVeda and Afroveda Whipped Gelly....But this is Far more moisturizing....and it did actually define my curls....it did not leave them overly defined like KK or like Eco Styler ...but it left them frizz free and super moisturized...I did not even need to add oil or anything....

So for me the Smoothie is a keeper and I doubt I will be doing online ordering because this is available online at $10.....and It moisturizes....I will take moisturized, soft and frizz free hair over overly defined hair anyday

Also....tried the the Hold & Shine Moisture Mist....It did nothing for my hair at all....So it is not a repurchase at all....

I wanted to try the masque...but after most reviews I may hold off on that

I purchased the Curl Enhancing Smoothie for my DD and love the scent. Does anyone know if the silk protein ingredient will be too much for her hair? I have only used it twice and can't stop smelling her hair.

I use it on my DD hair as well but as a sealant. I spray her hair with water/glycerin first then I use the milk. Her hair is left shiny and moisturized. However, the scent can be a little much at times. I love it

i'm so annoyed. i made a trip to target the other day to pick up some of these products, and they don't even carry them! thats crazy. because back in may, i saw them on the shelves. ♥

I have been using the Curl Enhancing Smoothie for the past 2.5-3 weeks and I am still loving it....it leaves my hair so soft and moisturized ... I only have to use the slightest amount....

I loved these products when they were under the Nubian Heritage brand and sold only at Nubian Hertiage stores...since they have started to mass produce for Target, Macy's etc...the quality has decreased TREMENDOUSLY. I won't be purchasing any of their products...on to the next one :)

I didn't like the smoothie. My hair seemed moisturized initially but by day's end it was like hay.

I purchased the deep treatment masque. I'll be back with my report later.

Okay,so I am so in looove with the Coconut & hibiscus Hold and Shine mist!!!! My hair is super soft after my cowash. I rinsed out a flat iron job and just co-washed instead of dc'ing,so I was expecting some roughness, but my hair is so nice and soft, and silky too! This is a staple right off the bat. I've only used it a few times, but I am extremely pleased with it's performance.:yep:

I'm about to run out and grab the Curl and Style milk in a little bit. I hope I am feeling that one too. I wish this Target would stock up on all of the products. They only added about three, and the curl souffle was gone before I could get there.

^^ Me too. I have the Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner (bought two of them) and the Curl Smoothie. My hair really likes these two products. They keep my hair moisturized without feeling greasy like the ORS Olive Oil Hair Lotion did.

I use both the milk and curling enhancing smoothie and I love it! I use them for both wash and gos and twist outs with great results.

^^ really....It works so great on my hair....but my hair loves coconut oil....The Mask did nothing for me...

I'm with you on that. The mask was okay and I have been mixing it with other condishes to DC and use it up. At first I wasn't feeling the smoothie but that's b/c I was trying to use it on we hair. Once I tried on my dry hair for twists and twistouts I fell in love, and for $10 and no online ordering I am all in!

I initially liked the Curl Smoothie, but like it better mixed 50:50 w/Curls Milkshake. The Mist & Shine, I'm still on the fence though. Will probably mix it in one of my spay bottles to use up. There is no greasy feeling though with these 2 products & I do like the ingredients.

Bump.

I purchased the curl enhancing smoothie. I don't like it. I really wanted to like it but it's a no go. It doesn't enhance my curls and its not moisturizing for me. It takes a lot to work into my hair. Once it's worked I'm left with a dull finish. It's so disappointing.

Since it was 10 bucks, I'm not willing to give up just yet. I'm going to mix it with shea butter, coconut oil and aloe vera juice and see what I get. Actually, all those ingredients are in the product. So IDK if that will do anything. I guess I'll find out soon.

I bought the curl enhancing smoothie yesterday and I used it today after washing and twisting my hair. It smells lovely and the consistency is like mousse. I have to wait for my hair to dry to see if this product does what it says. If it works, I'll start using that instead of the pricy aloe butter I currently use ($30 for 1 lb).

I'm surprised at the negative reviews of this line! I searched high and low for a leave-in that would work on my coarse hair, and the SheaMoisture Restorative leave-in is definitely the bizness for my hair. It melts my tangles on contact and leaves my hair super soft, even without sealing! This is normally an impossible task on my hair. It has the same effect on my 4 year old's 4a hair.

I use the deep treament mask as a moisturizer and love it so far. I am seeking a staple line. Granted, I had some buildup but I am sure it was the sea kelp. Other then that I love the product I have tried and will make this a staple more then likely :)

I have tried the Shea deep treatment mask and the Curl Enhancing Smoothie.
They both smell delicious, but none of them do anything noticeable to my hair.

I bought these at Target:

Shea Moisture Organic Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner
Organic Coconut and Hibiscus Hold and Shine Moisture Mist
The Shine spray

The conditioner did nothing for my hair. The moisture mist smelled really good, but other than smelling great it did nothing. I did like the shine spray was ok, but I can get the same results from my bottle of avocado oil that. I won't repurchase any of their products.

I'm also surprised at the negative reviews. I've been using the shampoo for dry and damaged hair every week for almost two months and I absolutely LOVE it! I tried the Deep Treatment Masque for the first time today and so far so good. Once I get from under the dryer I'll really be able to tell. But I should say that I consistently pre-poo with castor and olive oil before washing and I used my Keracare dry and itchy scalp conditioner in conjunction with the masque. So the products are getting some help. I've yet to find a product that doesn't need some type of help.

I bought the Curl Enhancing Smoothie at Target last week; it seemed somewhat similar to the leave-in I mix up myself, so I thought it might be a good substitute for when I'm feeling lazy. But it's more Shrinkage Enhancing than Curl Enhancing,. I think there is a bit too much glycerin in it.

shea moisture organic raw shea butter deep treatment mask - HATED IT!!!

The smell gave me a gawd awful headache. The DC was crap did nothing for me. Due to my experience with the DC, I have not bought anything else.

Even though the curling enhancing smoothie smells great, it did nothing for my hair. My hair was dry, like I didn't put any product on it. Plus my hair felt like there was a coating on it. I mixed half of the smoothie with my aloe butter and I will not purchase it again.
