What do you use?

I use product on my twist outs. Build up. I'd like to use a clarifying condish to co-wash. VO5 makes a clarifying condish. Any others?

Any pros/cons to this idea?

Are you trying to use it to get rid of the buildup or to prevent buildup from cowashing? Because clarifying conditioners don't actually clarfiy, as I've heard some ladies say. They just accompany the clarifying shampoo and they're supposed to not leave any residue. I've used Vo5 and it worked just as well as the other ones. They all work the same to me. Vo5 is the only one I know of.

I use the VO5 clarifying kiwi lime conditioner. I had product build up from shea butter, also chlorine from swimming pool. The VO5 clarifying conditioner worked fine

I don't usually conditioner wash, but if I start to (because of my workout regimen), then I will be using a clarifying conditioner to clean my hair daily or every other day.

I remember reading somewhere that it's gentler than a regular cleansing shampoo, but not as weak as a regular conditioner. We'll soon see.
