I've been doing this one for a few weeks now, but substituting the coconut oil for wheat germ oil kicked this already awesome DC up a notch.

LeKair natural shea butter cholesterol
White Rain Ocean Mist (five different kinds of sea kelp in this one)
yogurt
Grace cream of coconut
CocoReal coconut cream
honey powder
egg powder
irish moss powder
marshmallow root powder
wheat germ oil
aloe vera juice or gel (optional)

Dont mean to hijack but Oh, oh, oh, you make your own yogurt. So do I tell me what you do.

Well, my mom is Turkish .... All Turkish woman seem to know how to make yogurt out of virtually nothing. LOL! I know she boils full fat milk then leaves it wrapped up in a blanket for a few hours to ferment i guess

I'll check up on the details for you next time I talk to her. Homemade yogurt is my HG when it comes to skin and haircare. :lick: When I went to Spain for a few months I had to use store bought Greek yogurt and it just was NOT the same.

i did another cocktail tonight with Silk Elements, honey, evoo, coconut oil, Aphogee 2 Minute Keratin, and a spoon of Tresemme Anti-Breakage condish. i'm loving this cocktail thing, and for the first time i finally feel like my hair is benefiting from dc'ing, instead of it just being something to do on sundays. i had been having issues with my crown being stretchy and snapping sometimes, but yet feeling under moisturized at the same time- now my crown feels great and i don't have any stretchy breakage, and my hair is moisturized. yay! ♥

Yeah, I don't think I have a cocktail, per sae...I just use Mixed Chicks deep conditioner, olive oil, coconut oil and Hot 6 oil (for my ceramides)...

I guess I have a cocktail too - Aloe Vera Juice, diluted Silk Amino Acids with some lavendar oil, Wheat germ oil, then my Giovanni Deeper Moisture condish all over my hair and some silicone mix only on my ends...in that order:)

I always make DC Cocktails. There is always some moisture DC base, oils, protein, and in the summer honey, glycerin I will also add MSM powder or some other extra like aloe juice. I especially do it when I'm low on a DC and need to make it stretch to use it up.

Last night I mixed Komaza Olive Oil, SSI Banana Burlee, Joico Kpak reconstructor, Megatek, SSI Green Tea, my HOT oils. My hair came out nice a soft and really defined.

Definitely check out the DDDC to see different DC mixes especially last years challenge.

Oh cool to see so many people have similar mixes:grin:

Mine is...

Lekair Cholesterol (peach)
ORS Replen Pak.
Silicon Mix (orig or bambo)
Elasta QP Intense Fortifying Condish
AO Honey Sucklerose
Honey
Castor Oil

I just recently started adding marshmellow root powder but I think ima just save it for bentonite clay treatments...

Another mix ....

*henna, maka, brahmi, fenugreek & hibisbcus powders infused in castor oil
*mustard oil
*blend 50/50 mix of oils in applicator bottle
*apply to hair and marinate over night.
*In the morning apply moisturizing deep conditioner on top of this and let sit for at least an hour. Wash out and follow with diluted acv honey rinse.
