My curl pattern was not this loose the first time I went natural. And to make it even more awkward, I look like I have a tail. I'm thinking my hair may be growing with 2 different patterns, but Im hoping it's just because the back is longer and hanging and the other parts will catch up. I did my 2nd BC June 3rd. I posted a picture before on here. I wish I had taken a picture of the back though. I swear my hair is growing like a weed. I've been spritzing my hair with a little concoction I brewed up. If it's really doing anything, I will let you know. ;) I will post pictures in August and see if my eyes are playing tricks on me or not.

What length is your hair now @ soslychic? I want my hair to be all the same lol. But I know that's not going to happen.

I kinda have something like that. But it shrinks up and blends well so I don't cut. Also my top middle hangs different then my sides. They stay shrunk up still. I think it's a combination of length/weight and different texture or curl pattern.

lol, my hair is going to look crazy. I vowed to allow my hair to do it's own thing for the rest of it's growing life. Or just wear hats until it looks a little more evenly disbursed.

1) The back of my head is a different texture than the crown which is a different texture from the front. Probably 3c...loose 4a...4a.
2) Despite what folks say, scab hair is real. I don't know how long you transitioned this time but the difference in the texture of my hair between the transitions (1st and 2nd) was very visable.

I don't think it's "scab hair." My hair is curly all over. I just have 2 different curl patterns. It's not like the nape is softer lol. It's just looser. And I transitioned from about Feb 18 (day after relaxer) to June 3 (2nd BC).

I think my hair is better now than it was my first go round because I applied my relaxer the 2nd time & left in on very short period of time. My mom used to do mine and do it to the point of complete and utter straightness. lol

But I do thank you for the reply. I didn't even know what scab hair was until I googled it. :spinning:

i have that tail too. its part of the reason i'm feeling ugly with my wng lately. btw, love the earrings. ♥

Yeah, I just wear hats lol. That li tail is so noticeable. haha. I vowed to let my hair "do it's thing" this time around though. & thank you! I'm opening my store very soon. :yep:

my tail has become a mullet. It just hangs when the rest of the hair form a fro. The texture I believe is a silky 3c while the rest is a coarse 4a/b.

I too have a tail and my texture in my nape area has looser curls than any other part of my hair

That section of my hair is the longest and grows the fastest. I just did the BC in April, its already at the bottom of my neck
