I know that they are, but I don't really think of them that way even if they have dreads or are rocking an afro puff.

well i learned that some men relax their hair to get waves!!!! I DID NOT KNOW THIS UNTIL JOINING LHCF!!!

so now i'm always confused...

of course they are! cuz some arent like kat williams :yep:

some men relx to get waves?? how does that work would it take the waves away???

Something about a man with relaxed hair... OMG it just screams Prince Purple Rain :lachen: I just assume they are special

I do not like processed hair on a man. Something seems zesty when a man takes time out to sit down and have his hair parted in sections and all that jazz that we go through to get straight hair...lol and most times it looks busted.

I think what the other poster meant was some men texturize? or texlax for waves.

Anyways yes I consider them natural if I see their hair in a natural state unless proven or said otherwise. If their hair is really greasy or too curly/shiny then i know it may be processed but for the most part men with locs, and fros, and low cuts are all natural.

Men are lucky everything is natural for them. All they have to do is roll out of bed brush their hair throw on deodorant and leave. They almost never have to do anything artificial

:look: well unless they chemically alter their hair...but dreads are natural

men with dreads :drool::drool::drool:...whew, don't even get me started

NO!!! there are like wave kits... i guess they are more of a texturizer but YEAH!!! ITS PERM!!! and some boys wearing the curly fro use the kits too!!! i saw a kit in a bss in cali and was like "wait... they perming for that too??" my girl was like "yeah girl! in oakland all the girls is starting to go natural under weaves and now all the boys is using up the perms" i was like WOW!!! cause when i imagine a dude with a perm i automatically picture a katt williams flipped and feathered do... but i was mislead!

No, natural hair is expected of men, not so much for women ... although that is a sad thing to state.

To me, as long as the hair isn't chemically processed then it's natural whether it's a man or a woman.

I don't think about but I guess if they don't use any chemicals on their hair. I know a few guys that use wave kits/texturizers but I wasn't really aware because it's not like it looks chemically altered.

I only new a few guys with the "curl" but for the most part yes they are natural even if they only grow 1/2" of hair and brush it down.

I know a male stylist who does this and I never knew it! I made some comment about his hair and his response was 'don't think this is natural, I got a relaxer honey.'
More texlaxed, looked really good too. I think it was styled in a blow out? Enough to show the texture which was 3 something with the relaxer...

Off Topic - Riverrock, your siggy makes me want to fight somebody :(

On Topic - IMO whenever i see a guy with a wave or jherri looking curl i think, 'who is he trying to kid? We all know you got that texture out of a box'.

Alot of men do want others to think that 'they have Indian in them'.

I've never really thought about it but I guess they are if it's not chemically altered.

There's something about a guy with a nice afro though! :lick:

Yep. I consider them natural.

Miryoku-- you gonna get me in trouble with that pic!!!!!! :lick:
If he had a fro instead of a braid-out though.... whew!!!
