How do you dilute shampoo?

I use water. I have an applicator bottle from Bed Bath and Beyond. I put about 30ml of shampoo at the bottom and then fill with water leaving about 1/2 inch of space. I place my finger over the whole and shake until it is mixed. I usually wash my hair in braids, so I squeeze the diluted shampoo on my already water soaked scalp and gently rub, then rinse.

Hope this helps. :)

lol! i thought that but then that don't make sense to me. Ain't that the same thing as just washing your hair with water and shampoo?

LOL, you are funny:grin:. when i use to shampoo i would put my shampoo in a spray bottle with water. this controls how much shampoo you want touching your hair before you rinse.

I just use water mixed in an applicator bottle. I'm not precise but I shake it until it's sudsy. I dilute all shampoo whether sulfate or sulfate-free.

Why the sulfate-free shampoo? *taking notes*

I find that some sulfate-free shampoos are more drying than non-sulfate shampoos on my hair. Also I find it easier to to apply when I wash my braids & it rinses easier.
