Now that I've reached "__bs____" length (or stage in my journey), my #1 hair issue (or issues) are ___shedding and single strand knots____?

I have no issues due to the growth of my hair to mid back. My main issue that i've had forever is that my crown is always so dern dry. Everywhere else = like buttah. Crown = Sahara

Now that I've reached "__BSL____" length (or stage in my journey), my #1 hair issue (or issues) are __Its always been fine hair which leads to split ends oh and boredom_____?

Now that I've reached the 33rd month of my journey, my main hair issues are: finding the right products and learning how to style my hair (braiding and twists that look good lol).

To be a little positive...issues I've gotten past:

Single strand knots
Learning how to manipulate my hair
Correcting porosity
Breakage
Accepting my hair's natural texture and density (I literally have all hair types in my hair...including straight..quite annoying; my hair is also annoyingly fine)

Now that I've reached "below APL", my #1 hair issue is the hair right below my crown area . This area breaks really easy which causes my already fine, thin hair to appear even thinner and makes that infamous "W" in the back!!!

Now that I've reached BSL, my main hair issue is regretting the heck outta getting these dang layers!!! Ugh!!!! It just seems my hair could be so much fuller and luscious. My ponytail, alone, would be a dream! And every time I look at my layered hair, I regret it anew! Ugh!!!! :wallbash:

Now that I've reached APL length (or stage in my journey), my #1 hair issue (or issues) are dryness and thinness.

The thinness is especially bad in my ends. But I know my hair is uneven, so I just keep on bunning and I pray for the ends to fill in on their own. If not, then I'll just have to trim.

Now that I've reached the 1.5 year mark of my hair journey, my #1 hair issues are my dry, breaking ends.

Most of my hair is soft now because I've been treating it well for so long. But the last 3 inches of old hair that I used to mistreat is deteriorating before my very eyes. It is dry, dry, dry, and gets SSKs, splits, weak strands ready to snap off :(. I will not do a 3-inch trim because I don't want to lose all my progress, so I will continue to S&D and deal with it until I'm at least BSL or MBL.

There are so many positive things though too about my HHJ. I've learned what products work for my hair. I know which styles will help me to avoid long detangling sessions and frustration. My hair is softer (except the ends, which even soften up some with a DC) and more manageable. Finally, I've retained about 4-5 inches (despite one 1-2in cut) since I started!! :)

hey sis!
I read on here that a few members heat coconut oil & dip their ends in in order to "treat" the breakage, drying, and/or SSK's they get on the ends of their hair

Ever try this method? (and even then possibly bun them and baggy to ensure moisture retention)

get rid of cones? clarify?

Now that I've reached "still shoulder length last time I checked " length (or stage in my journey), my #1 hair issue (or issues) are to retain as much length as possible and make it to APL one day?

Now that I'm transitioning (12 weeks!) and on my way to APL, my #1 hair issue is tangling and breakage.

But my hair and I are hanging in there together! Most of the time anyway. Sometimes I want t

Now that I've reached "__2 INCHES FROM APL____" length (or stage in my journey), my #1 hair issue (or issues) are MY THINNING EDGES AND CROWN AND MY VERY LOW DENSITY FINE HAIR.. i NEED SOME THICKNESS_______?

I'm nowhere near my goal due to setbacks caused by thinning/shedding hair ... which, by the by, is my #1 issue right now.

The banes of my hair journey are Dryness! Styling without heat! Shedding!

I did't use the sentence out of laziness. Sorry.

Now that I've reached "ARM PIT" length (or stage in my journey), my #1 hair issue is "SPLIT ENDS"...

My hair has been APL for quite some time due to frequent trims to get rid of split ends. I believe the split ends came from blowdrying and flatironing my natural hair. I also think dryness and not moisturizing my hair enough has something to do with my hair possibly breaking off with and without realizing it. So now, in order to reach my goal of at least BSL, I've been moisturizing my hair more often and trying my best to leave it alone by keeping it in a bun most of the time.

Now that I've reached "APL:bud:" length (or stage in my journey), my #1 hair issue (or issues) are: well it was single strand knots, not so much since i texlaxed. Now its more of taking care of my hair with this chemical on it! Some dryness. And getting to my next goal= BSL!!

Now that I've reached " 1 year in a half in my natural journey, my #1 hair issues are split ends, SSK's and trying to decide if I use heat more will I avoid these issues or have more of them? :wallbash:

Now that I've reached 19 weeks post BC/42 weeks post relaxer in my natural hair journey, my #1 hair issue is styling. Because I have CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome) I can't cornrow, so I'm limited to shrunken fros, low to medium heat blow outs (that end up shrinking back up atleast 50-75% of the way), braid/twist outs, and dressing it up with random hair candy. I guess the good part is that I don't have alot of breakage or shedding.... but come this fall, that may change (that's when I shed like a beast.)

Now that I've reached " BSB " length, my #1 hair issue (or issues) is getting beyond that. Have been stuck here for a little more over a year:wallbash:

Now that I've reached "__NL____" length (or stage in my journey), my #1 hair issue (or issues) are ___not being able to put my hair up in a proper bun, and the fact that my hair is so many lengths. the front of my hair is jaw bone length, and the back is NL. Plus the back of my head grows so freakin slow!____?

I've never used steam, I'm gonna give this a try. I've changed up my vitamins and I drink about 80 ounces of water a day. I've tweaked a few things in my regi, so I'm gonna see if I got any growth by the end of July when I take my braids out. I will also be stalking kimmaytube's video:blush::look:

Now that I've reached shoulder-length hair, the #1 hair issue is that I have a LOT of single strand knots. I can't leave my hair in a fro for a minute without seeing them. And I know I have a lot since in a quarter-sized ball of shedded hair, I could see at least five broken hairs with the SSKs just staring me in the face. So I just keep them braided or twisted to prevent them from getting worse.

She IS! She's like my #1 inspiration right now! And the interesting thing is is that her growth rate is just the average half-inch a month but she retains every single inch of it! She also exercises and eats healthy so that's also a boost. :yep:
