I am so glad your hair ended up good!! Your hair is just beautiful.

I can so relate to your posts, which is why I had to become a DIY'er. I see that you are in MA also- I am so envious of people that live in other states b/c it seems as though the salons there are more competent. Who knows though- the grass is always greener on the other side.

If you decide to become a DIY'er - I wish you the BEST of luck.

I am soooo glad you spoke up.

You're hair is very pretty and i'm glad it turned out OK.

Do you think you'll be OK to relax yourself?

thanks! :):)
I feel the same way, I see so many posts about great salons, and never any in MA.

In the past I was never one to speak up, because I honestly didn't know what to speak up against. I was the client who if you told I needed to relax my hair every 8 weeks and cut each time because my hair wouldn't grow if I didn't, would agree without argument (a stylists dream huh?! lol) So happy I know much more about hair care now and how my hair should be treated.

I've relaxed my hair once on my own. I didn't enjoy the experience at all. I was very nervous I was going to do something wrong and lose all my hair. I did do a ton of research beforehand though, so I didn't walk into it without some sense of what I was doing. The only negative was that my hair was very limp afterward.
