I don't care if you are going to relax soon, stretching or transitioning. JUST POST. I'm hoping this will be helpful to some transitioning ladies like myself. TIA

So I guess I'll start. I'm 11 weeks post.

This is what I'm shooting for again...This is the farthest I've gotten...18 wks post relaxer. See how nice and tamed it looks. It's a lie! Coconut oil and scarf...

And this is the back. Lots of coilies. I have no idea of hair type. I've been going with 4a.

I am 2 1/2 months post and I've got MAJOR shrinkage. I will be relaxing in 2 weeks.

Too bad my hair doesn't grow down like that. It grows out... "DARN YOU HAIR"!!

In 4 days, I will be one year post (so let's say 52 weeks!)

The first picture is from today. I braided til just before the new growth ended, so you will see a tiny bit of new growth after the braid.

The second picture is from last week.

My sides seem to grow faster than the crown.



My hair is resistant, so the relaxed hair still has alot of texture. The relaxed hair is slightly lighter in color:

Not enough lol Um....I'd say mostly 2 inches unstretched and some areas are 3 unstretched

I have the same fustration, I have only 2-3 inches after 6 -7 months. erplexedThank goodness I didn't bc and can rely on my wigs.
