She was also on TV maybe a couple of years ago...some show where she got a mini makeover done to surprise her fiance before the wedding. I reallllly miss her albums; I hope they are still around (or at least some of the pics) and someone can post a link....

I remember her too--she was one of my inspirations when I first thought about going natural.

I remember her from Naturallycurly.com. She was villified there when she got her silkener at Curve. They were brutal at the time about being natural and not texturizing. Now I see the owner has a brazilian blowout.
Anyhow, she did have pretty hair before and after the silkener. I'd love to see her now.
I believe her mom worked at with Essence magazine - maybe her too.

I remember when Isis was natural, got a Silkner, and then there was this big controversy. Her her always looked nice. I also remember when she dyed it blond. I think her and Anikalia were cousins or something.
yea, I really liked Anikalia's hair. She was texturized too. I think she lives here in Atlanta now. I've seen her out a few times.

THIS IS MY OPINION - I liked her hair before the chemicals much better. It was perfectly spirally curly and I know she could wear it out without silkeners (braid out/twist out could have given her the same effect). It really didn't look that healthy and kinda dry (IMO). I guess it is easier though since she has a little one and is expecting.
