If you HAD to end your transition TODAY...would you relax or BC? Anyone from 2 weeks to 2 years post can join in on the fun! lol... Make sure you include why... Soooo I'm 17 weeks post...and right now I say relax:rolleyes:

Any takers?
 
BC. No reason to relax, but I'm length-centric so I hold on to my ends. Given an ultimatum I would BC. I've been waiting all this time with my ends screwing up any chance to really see my curls, I wouldn't go back to relaxing and start all over.
 
Im 19 months post...I would BC...my hair was not this healthy with a relaxer, and even though Im a member of this board I wouldnt even know how to begin to take care of a relaxer!
 
I'm 8 months post and i wold probably relax just cuz my hair is in a really troublesome stage right now; in another month or so i'll probably say bc cuz i really miss the strength and health of my natural hair so i'm eager to get back to it.
 
I am 21 months post and I would definitely BC mostly because the only reason that I haven't done it yet is because I want to hold on to as much length as possible. I know how difficult it has been to transition and I would hate to start over if I relax and then decide to transition again.

I think when you are transitioning there comes a point when relaxers are no longer on your mind. But that point is different for everyone
 
Definitely BC....transitioning for 10 months and have a comfortable length (im a ponytail girl)
 
I'd relax. I'm 4 months post and I'm not handling transitioning very well. Besides that I'd have really short hair if I BC'd...and I have nightmares about that.
 
Ooooo...8 mos post and i cant make that decsion. Im not ready to deal with the natural and im holding on to length of my relaxed hair. im about 30%natural and 70%relaxed. Nope sorry cant do either one.
 
At 10 months post i would BC. I've worked too hard to get to this point just to throw it all away and relax again. I'm loving my new growth and hating my tangled ends right now.
 
I'm 10 months post today :grin: and i would have to bc. I was actually thinking of what hair styles i could do if it did bc now, yesterday.
 
I'd BC and i'm only 12 weeks post. I'm just tired of the damage from relaxers, so I'd suck it up and rock a short do for a while, or just stay in braids.
 
I would BC. I have not problem wearing my hair in a TWA. I'm currently 15 weeks into my transition.
 
I'm 16 months and although I can't wait to start with a clean slate, I just can't let it go now. At least not until I gain alot more length! I just can't see letting all that time, patience and effort chopped off. It's like starting over and over again twice.

I will just keep in my yarn braids for another yr or maybe two then gradually chop off the texlaxed ends. but I just can't start this process over again for lack of patience in the first place. It would be a slight waste, for me at least!:wallbash:
 
I think I'd go ahead and BC. I'm itching to do it anyway, and I'm 46 weeks post...I've come too far to turn back now. However, I'd probably wear braids for about 6 months so DH wouldn't put me in the basement. :lachen:
 
BC definitely why? because when I decided to transition I was 100% sure I wanted my natural hair back. I tend to stick to my guns. I would be crazy to be so indecisive that I would give up after nearly 16 months only to do it all again? nah, not me:nono:
 
I didnt go through all that detangling, single strand knots and matting to go back to a relaxer!!!! Soo... I would BC :) and i'm 12 months post :)!
 
I'm a year post and I'd BC.

My friend and sister are already pressuring me to do it, but I'm holding firm for a while longer
 
9.5 mos post. If I HAD to choose, I'd BC. I'm already all natural in the back. I just really don't want to cut the longer relaxed part up top unless I have to.
 
No question, I'd BC!!! I am just itching to do it anyway. I am almost 7 months post. I'd have a super twa but I just want to be relaxer free.
