I got the idea from anoter thread that I could do the same sort of styles on my transitioning hair as I did on my natural hair. This twist out was my favorite. I don't think it came out too bad. I'm not happy with the ends because I originally put them in rollers but I couldn't sleep on them so I bantu knoted the ends:nono: Never again. I will just get some covered sponge rollers for sleeping.

Did 6 flat twists going straight back. You can see my massive amount of NG in these pics. I love it!:lick:

How I'll probably wear it today (it looks really nice in person, just weird on camera I guess)

My baby bump LOL!

Tucked the left out ends behind my ears (avoiding putting an stress at all on my hair line)

Ok now that you're tired of looking at me, enjoy your Sunday!

Oh forgot to list products LOL!

I washed and conditioned with Auusie Moist Poo & Condish
Used mane and tail braid spray as my leave in and sealed with Palmers olive oil. Air dried.
Flat twisted straight back with motions setting lotion, 6 twists. Rolled ends (then screwed it up and bantu knotted overnight)

Took down twists and went over hair lightly with coconut oil and chi silk infusion (I'm addicted to that serum lol)

Hopefully this style will last me a few days! Ideally I'd like to only have my hands in my hair 2 days a week max.

Pretty hair!
That bump is turning into a mound! :lachen:

I know right?:lachen: I'm not even quite 3 months along yet:nono: I carry huge and people always ask if it's twins:wallbash: DH says as big as our kids come out (DS was over 10 pounds :thud:) it's practically the same thing:rofl:

I like it alot!!! You're bump is adorable. I think we may be due around the same time. I'm 11 wks today. But I sure as heck don't have a cute bump like that behind all this flab LOL Congrats!!!

You look great: hair, skin, and body on point! And I love your baby bump, too cute! Good luck with your transition.

It looks so cute, I like the way you wore it in the end. And you are all bump lady, Your weight loss/maintenence has always been an inspiration to me

1. Your hair came out looking great. I wish i knew how to flat twist. I can only cainrow.

2. Your siggy pics - you have lost sooooo much weight girl - well done.

3. Your bump is lovely and congratulations.

you look adorable :) perm rods or smaller hard rollers with the clamps work fine for the ends of twists/braidouts and i wrap end papers around them for just in case.

Kbragg, the style looks good. I love the last pic and the look on you. Your baby bump is cute! Congrats. Are you relaxing/texlaxing now? P.S. Yes, your edges look good in these pics too!

Awwies Congratz on the Babyyyyy!!! Your hair looks good...wish my flat twist turned out like that..lol

Good job on the twist out! I like your widows peak. :yep:

Congrats on the baby! Have you modified your nutrition and exercise program for the pregnancy? My daughter is pregnant now and I'd love to give her some pointers because she is gaining weight wayyyy too fast lol. Even her doctor said she needs to reel it in.

I wish I had read this before I redid this last night:nono: I used too big of rollers and my ends came out unhappy lol. My flexirods should be here soon and I got the smallest size so those should help:yep: Next time I will use my tiny rollers.

I'm accidentally relaxed and transitioning again lol. Long story but never trust a "texture softener":nono: It completely straighted the front of my hair so now I'm transitioning AGAIN:wallbash:

Girl I am the worst person for advice because my diet has gone out the window:nono: All the healthy stuff I loved when losing the weight I hate now. Pregnancy hormones suck. The BEST advice I can give to minimize weight gain (because IMO some women just carry big and have big babies lol) is the remain as active as possible. I do Yoga 3 times a week and try to walk daily at least 2-3 miles. I stand as much as my bak and feet allow and am rarely still. I also track everything I eat good or bad and weigh daily. I think I would be gaining a LOT faster if I wasn't at least aware of my intake. I hope that helps, but just tell her not to worry, to make the best choices she can and she will lose it later:yep:

This is my 4th and I've lost the weight from my last 3 no problem once I learned how (calories in, calories out, choose foods that are not calorie dense (and apple has 80 calories a doughnut:lick::sekret: has at least 190!) and do no stimulate hunger and stay active.)

I re-did the look today using rollers at the ends instead of bantu but used too big of a size so still not happy with the ends. I will be rocking the loose bun today:

I learned on you tube. It's actually pretty simple and faster than cornrows:yep: Same concept as cornrow but with 2 strands instead of 3. I'll try and find the video...
