So I got a touch-up on Tuesday and unfortunately my hair died that night thanks to the humidity and the products the hair dresser used. I also have horrible relaxer burns in my nape and my edges that extend to my face. I seriously considered going natural after that and am still contemplating...but I digress. Last night was the senior gala, I wore a black dress with turquoise accessories and I brushed my hair into a side ponytail and let what was left of my curls hang and I pinned it up to make it into a messy bun of some sorts. I smoothed the bump out on the other side to make it lay flat but you get the jest. It was a very simple and chic look that took only a few minutes to make. Click on the link below to view! :)

thanks y'all! I'm going to upload some more pictures later of the whole outfit and prolly but it in the fashion forum, lol.

But yea, that relaxer burn was no joke, Im trying to figure out how to nurse it properly. I have my graduation this Sat, and Friday is going to be a busy day for me so I'm going to wash and rollerset my hair tonight. I think I should get a shampoo with tee tree oil in it, or just buy some of the oil and do a pre-poo with that on my scalp. if anyone has any suggestions feel free to divulge!

BTW does anyone know if i can use matrix ceramides, the ones in the vial, the same day I do my joico k pak reconstructor?

Hey hun, I liked it. I clicked the next arrow just to view some other pics to see how you style you hair on a regular basis and I saw some pics of Deltas doing their Founder's Day Step. Are you a soror?!

That is a very stylish and chic protective style. So much more nicer than a regular ole' bun that you would wear everyday. I've always wanted to try a side swept style like that. Did you find that the texture from the curls helped it to stay in place? How are those burns doing now?
