Maxiglide vs INSTYLER

I haven't heard any good reviews about Instyler so I'd not waste time getting it. Maxiglide gets some raves so it's a better buy IMO. But I haven't used it, so don't take my word for it. Personally, I believe technique not so much the tool used is the secret to not damaging your hair with heat. I've not used any of the better quality flat irons and I haven't had any heat damage.

In case you want to see for yourselves what folks say about Instyler, check this out:

When looking at these things on tv or online it's very important to see whether the models or the person reviewing or pitching them has hair like yours. If they don't - their hair is not like yours then don't assume it will work the same way for you. In the past I tended to over look this or I assumed hair was hair or something - and I wasted a lot of money this way - so now I'm very cautious.

I have both, Maxiglide- hair comes out beautiful, but the plates are so big and bulky its harder to work with and takes longer to do my hair, and when you have thick hair you dont want to spend any extra time on it. The teeth are fine IF youve really detangled youre hair.

Instyler- Makes my hair soft and shiny when straightened, But my i dont think it has enough heat because my hair reverts back way too quickly!

THANKS sooo much LeNghtyDreams!

I mind is already made up - I'm getting a Maxiglide. That Instyler thing doesn't look like it would work on my hair anyway.
