it looks like the hair she has added in is a remy body wave. regardless, it's cute.
but those shoes..are hot.

I'd like to know how it looks like she put big twist in her hair up top to get such big waves, with small curls at the bottom. It's a really cute style.

Yeah, that style is really cute and umm, I think Rudy may be on LHCF:look:

That looks like bantu knots in the front with a weave in the back.

Co-sign. And you can pull this look off with a half-wig and setting the front part of your hair on rollers. I wore it all last summer and got LOADS of compliments.

I've seen her & her hair is very long, but not that long and thick with it being curly. I'm pretty sure she added some hair to that. Either way it is very pretty.

it really is beautiful, and she is a total package. At least she didn't grow up like Urkel, and some other child stars who didn't make it.

Ricky Schroeder, Danny from the Partridge family, Gary coleman, Todd Bridges, Those kids came out looking jacked up after their teen years.

I love her hair :yep: Looks like it was curled with a wide barrel curling iron. Check out Ms.Kibibi's blog; coarse hair, long hair. She did beachy waves with caruso rollers

She may have twisted her own hair that was left out to blend with the weave hair she had installed. It also could have been bumped up with a curling iron. You should be able to acheive a similar style with a twist out or a twist and curl.

Her hair was long when she was on the cosby show.

She was also au natural with long hair. I can only imagine what length it would have been had she straightened it for the show, back then she was my hair idol. I think that in all likelihood it is her hair.

I checked our her blog and youtube videos and I LOVE her hair!!! But I didn't go through to find the style. I gotta figure out what the heck beachy waves are and how you do it.

Thanks!!

She is so pretty. Love the hairstyle. I do believe that she has a few pieces added in the back and her front is her hair curled with curling irons.

just for added input. sometimes i wish some of of our celeb lhcf sisters would get on here and spill the beans! in this forum we are haircare students, teachers, and gurus but alas we can always make room for the hairscoop 101.

Do you remember the name of the half wig did you use????
I'm not exactly sure which one I got, but it was one of these two:

I would part my hair in the middle and section off two medium-sized sections on each side of the part, and then brush back the rest of my hair and bun it under a wig cap. I would put foam on the hair that was out in the front and put either 2 or 4 rollers in it and let it dry overnight. (I used 4 when the wig was fresh because the curls were tighter) Put the wig on, take out the rollers and finger-style your hair to blend. Muffinsismylover on Youtube is a great person to watch, as she is a master at blending natural hair with wig hair, and she is who I learned my tricks from.

The wig was not EXACTLY identical to Rudy's hair, and you really have to sort of play with the half-wig since usually it comes out a bit curlier than the picture, but by the second week of wearing, it had fallen and looked a lot like Rudy's. For the price, and the fact that you don't have to deal with weave (Kelly Rowland's for example, was a very expensive weave), I made it work and everyone around me loved it.
