Well we're on a college budget so me and my friend are kinda sharing a subscription...lol.

The below pictures shows my friend's progress as of Feb 09 after her accidental BC due to homemade hair do's. She stopped relaxing back in 2006 and suffered from severe flatiron abuse. Her hair would not past her shoulders even though she was natural so one day she went to salon fed up and shaved it all off. She and some other friends of ours BC at the same time but she's the only one who had significant growth because she does absolutely NOTHING to her hair but uses Cantu everyday.

This is her with a perm>>

She doesn't look like a 13 yr old boy!
Her hair is beautiful. I'm jealous of the hangage(not a word, I know) that she has after only one year.
My hair still shrinks to a fro after 17 months.

I love it too but according to her she looked like a 13 yr old boy.lol

She said "aw thanks everyone"

I think it is super cool. I saw many a hair disaster take place in college dorms. Bootleg box perms and braids. She looks cute.

Her hair looks great. I see absolutley nothing boyish about that picture. So what do you think has stopped you and you other friend from retaining length?

thanks everyone!!!!!
Her hair has grown from no manipulation at all. All she does is cowash daily and uses cantu leave in. She realized for her hair moisture is key. Other friends we believe are not using low manipulation styling mainly because at school everyone is trying to be cute everyday.
