I think its 3c, I think this would be even more evident if you put some gel on it and the curls clumped.....I'd love to see your twa like that to know for sure. Congrats on the BC!![]()
I actually find the OP's curls to be quite evident naked the only reason I mentioned gel was so it would be more obvious to others. We disagree...no biggie, she asked for our opinions she got a coupleOne of the biggest differences between a 3c and 4a is the need/lack of products. 3c hair does not need gel for the curls to be evident, 4a does.
OP is a 4a. In fact is this your 2nd time BCing, I recall another pic of you with a fro but it was longer. If that was you, post that picture because one really needs 6 to 8 inches of hair to determine your hair type.

I see what you're saying but the difference between 3c and 4a is curl size.
Op, I think you should let your hair grow a little more to determine your hair type, most people find that they have more than just one curl type.

It looks like 4a with some left over straight strands from either the relaxer, or "scab hair"

It looks just like my hair!! So I'd say 3c/4a (because that's what type I was told I have)

I dont have any pics from this stage where I didn't comb out my fro![]()
we should be hair sisters since we're at the same length too. we can trade regimen ideas, etc. I see you joined the juice challenge![]()
I first thought 3c too but your hair looks similar to my hair when I BCed, and I had a tone of little curls. I wish I spent more time defining them...anyway I am a solid 4a so I am gonna go with that. Here is my BC if you wanna compare.

OP, Im curious, why'd you cut the fro? It was so pretty
Yesss!!Definitely a hair twin, and I'm thinking about coloring in the summer so you'll have to tell me how your hair reacts with the color and the juice! And yes mam, it looks as though I will be juicing very soon!
Def looks similar...are you still natural??? How long did it take to get to the length you are now??? And any tips for me as far as upkeep and stuff??? sorry so many questions
