I recently saw this line at Whole Foods and Target. How do you use the product in your routine?

I just used it as a daily moisturizer. I might try it on wet hair later on this week. Honestly my hair feel amazing. It hasnt felt this good in a while. Its very moisturizing, it doesnt weigh down my hair and it smells yummy:lick:BTW Her products are all natural.

IA: It's a Great Product.:yep:

I still like Qhemet OHHB, BRBC, AOHC, BeeMine Lucious Balancing Creme, Phyto 7 & 9 (and a few others) Equally as much tho'.:yep:

I really wanna try this but it costs €24.99 for us in Europe (about £22GBP, $33USD)... we'll see...

I bought some of this for my daughter's hair like 1-2 years ago. I don't like the smell, but I think I wanna try this on my natural hair. I love my shealoe though so we'll see. How did you use this in your hair OP?

This is my staple moisturizer. ITA worth every cent and will last a long time. I've tried it on wet hair and it didn't agree with my hair.

I love this product also. I use in as my sealer after my leave-in on wet hair to seal before I airdry. My hair dries soft and bouncy with it. Before it my air dried hair would be hard and stiff. I hope my local target will get it in stock then at least I won't have to pay shippint cost!

I love this too. I can't use a water based moisturizer, because it makes my hair frizz, but this is wonderful. My hair is always soft and shiny, and it smells great...don't love the price, but its worth it

This has been a staple for my DD's natural hair for the past 2 years. I use it on wet or dry hair and to grease her scalp . Her hair shines like crazy with this stuff. I love the grapefruity smell. Its not heavy at all and it gives her hair a silky soft feeling. I love it. Sometimes I use it to seal my ends.

I love, Love, LOVE this product. Yeah it costs $20 but it last a very long time. I've had mine for a year, and am only halfway through it. I use it as a sealer on my ends after moisturizing, or on my edges.

Yep it's totally worth the money. I use it on dry skin as well.
I've had the same jar for almost a year. The tricky part is the
application though. I have fine hair and am heavy handed with
my products. I suggest moving about 1/4 from the jar into
another container, then using that container to melt it in the
microwave a bit before applying it. This helps with my heavy
application syndrome.

i love this product too. i wold call it a staple for me but its nice. all her products give an amazing shine to the hair. and im natural, my hair does not shine at all on its own.

I keep going to back to this. It's really just dressed up shea butter, but my shea butter mixes never turn out as nice as this. I'd rather buy it then spend my time mixing.

another positive review for nourish and shine. i have been using it since 2008 and still love it. it's definitely a staple and works equally well for me on wet and dry hair. highly recommend and worth every penny!

OP I have to agree I LOVE this product!!! Its been a favorite since I met Jane Carter at last years Feb BB Hair show in ATL. For anyone who has the opportunity to catch a hair show where JCS is exhibiting, she always has incredible deals/specials. I got the N&S for 10.00. I think the scalp exfoliator, hair oil and scalp serum were also 10 each. And the rest of the line was any combo 4 or 5 (cant remember for) $20. She will be at the Natural Hair Show in ATL this weekend. And in August back in ATL for the BB Hairshow.

I think I may try this as a daily moisturizer after I'm done with my Elasta QP Mango Butter. Plenty of relaxed heads have given it good reviews :yep:

How are you all using this product - alone, or with other products? I did not like it at all; it did not seem to do anything for my hair, nor my children's hair; not by itself, nor in conjunction with anything else. :ohwell:

Just use a tiny bit (and I mean a tiny bit) to seal in your water-based moisture. Too much of it makes my hair greasy and stringy.

Hmm, what do the acronyms stand for?? What are the ingredients for Janes Nourish & Shine. I like to know what I'm getting myself into. Someone said it's mostly shea butter. What else!? Thanks

I like N&S for sealing in moisture. It makes my hair very soft. I bought a jar over a year ago and I'm just now almost out. N&S lasts for a long time and I really appreciate the simplicity of the ingredients. You can use it on your skin too.

And they ain't lying about the shine part :yep:

i havent used this product in over a year,
but i really liked it.

i only bought it once because of the price
but yeah...i liked this stuff.

I have the poo, NS, and the cream. Not sure how to use the cream and NS together or if you should. The smell is heavenly~

I'm using this and will be reviewing it next week. This month I'm focusing on her line and I love this too. It's great! I use it for styling dry hair and for sealing damp hair. I also use it for blow drying or flat-ironing. It's fab and my hair HATES butters!

I love that stuff. Once I use up all the other stuff I've purchased for my daughter I'll likely go back to this. I like it for my buns too.
