HIT:

Giovanni Smooth as Silk Conditioner- love it! the bottle says 'contains vegetable protein to soothe dry or damaged hair, control frizz, add shine.'. well, the bottle did everything it said! when i applied it to my hair, it felt so good and silky. my curls are poppin, and its very shiny too. there is very little frizz, even though when i do a wash'n'go, i ring my hair out first then put in the conditioner, which usually makes curly heads into cotton heads. but i didn't get that with this product. it spread so easily too, that i only had to use half of the sample size bottle. the sample size has 2 ounces in it, and i still have a lot left. so thats a definite plus because i'm not interested in buying the big bottle if i can only get few uses out of it.

anyway, i will try this conditioner again. ♥

Hits
Argan Oil and Roux Porosity Control (shampoo and conditioner). I'm not sure which is responsible, as I used both last night for the first time with my Humectress DC and WOW my hair is soft and moist today.

Misses
Jazzing Clear Gloss treatment. Used that last night too. My hair was shiner before I used this. I could smack somebody...

Huge Hit: The Gold Sprush/Spatula For Applying Relaxers........:yep:

!!! I just ordered that a few days ago. Girl, I'm fantasizing about my next touch up with that thing! I totally underprocessed last week because I was afraid of overprocessing and I can't wait to fix it. :yep:

Hit: Alaffia Lavendar poo from Whole Foods.
It's a 32 oz bottle for $9.99, I've tried several sulfate free natural poos and I find most to be very harsh, especially KBB's. I know natural poos will leave your hair kinda rough feeling b/c it's lacking a lot of the conditioning type ingredients in regular poo. I used this a few times and I like it, it gives good lather, it doesn't totally strip my hair, and it cleans good enough. Of course, it won't leave your hair feeling like you just washed it with CON but I really like this poo so far

Yesterday I used it w/ Nexuss Emergencee and Silicon Mix bambu treatment and my hair came out nice and soft.

From Sally Beauty:
Hairtrition Moisturizing Conditioner
GVP Conditioning Balm (co-wash)
Ardell Red Gold corrector (to add to my conditioners)

From Shea Terra Organics:
Baobab oil
shea Gold shea butter

Hit:

Organic Root Stimulator Hair Fertilizer. Keeps my edges soft and moisturized without a greasy effect. It's a little expensive, but I could see this becoming a staple.

Pure Aloe Vera Gel- I have added this to my pre-poo, and my conditioner, and it softens my hair so much. I recently had a relaxer touchup, and my new growth was easy to handle.

EXTREME HIT!

Sebastian DRENCH Conditioner

This is my SO's conditioner. We purchased it about 3 weeks ago when out shopping. I used it to condition wash my hair tonight before bed and .... OMGoodness!

He's not getting this one back!

I'm sold. It's geared to those with fine, chemically treated hair and that's me!

Hit: Hairveda Green tea butter. It keeps my hair from getting super dry between washes without weighing my hair down.

Renewed hit: Giovanni leave in conditioner. I had to stop using this for a while, but now I'm using it again and it is great.

Misses: none. I'm only buying to replace products that I already used and loved.

Hit: Profective Mega Growth Deep Strengthening Growth Conditioner! :dance7:

This is another permanent staple to add to my collection of deep conditioners! It works just as well as Silk Elements Megasilk conditioner, Verifen Complex, Motions Moisture Plus, Affirm 5 in 1 Reconstructor, NTM Daily Deep, NTM Hair Mask, etc.

Detangles my type 4 a/b below bra clasp hair like "nobody's business." I'm really impressed, and it cost about $5.45 at Target for a 15 ounce jar.

I highly recommend it, since it's not really mentioned on this board. I didn't add oil(s) to it, because several oils are already included plus silk amino acids.

This is one deep conditioner that's truly underrated, and it deserves more attention! :superbanana:

hit: hairveda almond glaze, bee mine luc balanced cream aveda glossing straightner miss: jane carter nourish and shine, and miss jessie baby buttercream

Hit: Hair One Olive Oil - I may actually reach the point where I only have 1 conditioner and this or Wen could be it!! My hair loves it and it feels so soft afterwards!!

Hit:
Beemine Hair Milk
Beemine Curly Butter

I ordered the sample sizes of these products because I needed something to moizturize my hair after a bun (my beloved Tresemme Naturals is an AWESOME cowash but didn't do well as a leave-in). The Beemine products were awesome, and the sample sizes are sooo generous! I don't think the Hair Milk will replace Knot Today as a leave- in, but after I test the Mozeke Avocado Cream, I'll choose one to be my permanent bun moisturizer.
