Hello LHCF ,
It's about time I stopped lurking and post a thread. I Bc'd on March 5th after transitioning for about 13 months. I transitioned with buns, braid-outs, twist-outs basically different types of curl sets. I decided to transition to natural hair because my permed hair seemed as if it was thinning over the years and it seemed like my hair wasn't getting past a certain length( I had no idea how to take care of my hair at that time). I initially was going to wait till May until it was much warmer to BC. I started to trim my permed ends and started experimenting with cutting pieces of the perm off and ending up doing a BC. I couldn't get all of it so one of my close friends helped me out.
Thank you ladies, you all are such an inspiration! You all are so helpful with posting your questions, giving advice, posting regimens, starting challenges...everything you all do. If I had not found this site there is no telling where my hair would be right now. Enough of my rambling here are the pictures!!
First 2 pics are of relaxed hair days:
These next few are transitioning pics:
These next pictures are really large. I do apologize.
Straggly permed ends. Don't mind the pics I was really tired and about go scissor happy...
