My First date w/ Tresemme Naturals....

Do you believe in love at first Co-wash? :love4:

Well I do!

I had been looking for reviews of this product and I didnt see too many so I decided to take the plunge myself since I was out of my usual aussie moist. I will say so far that this product is a keeper!

Heres the skinny:

The product is pretty thick, which I like, and although it has no cones or parabens it has a smoothing "slip-like" effect on your hair. This is one of those products that dissapears in your hair much like Aubrey Organics White Camellia [BUT by no means is this a direct comparison!]

I was surprised because usally when I co-wash I put my bonnet dryer on for like 5mins to soften my hair b4 I finger comb and style.....Last night there was no need for this step!

It left my hair really soft and detangling was a breeze!

Also I love the smell....I am big on having "fragrant" hair :lick:

Tresemme and I plan to have a second date on Monday, I wonder if I will see the same results *I pray this isnt a one hit wonder product*

I say try it if you are looking for a good cheap conditioner to cowash with.

*disclamer* I always use trader joes grapeseed oil pre-cowash... I do not know how much of an effect it had on the product...but 4 me the two are a match made in heaven

I attached a pic of the bottle but I actually used the green one with aloe and avocado oil

I have to keep my eye out for it. I just found out it existed a few day ago...thanks for your review!

I saw the commercial for it...so no parabans, cones, or sulfates even in the shampoo?

There are no cones or parabens in the condish but the shampoo is "low sulfate" whatever that means :lachen:

I dont use poo (except to clarify) so I didnt try the shampoo.

I used to love Tresemme before I started using ORS. I will try it but will it even come to Canada? Hmmm..

Really..... you guys dont get products out in Canada? but hopefully it reaches....it took a minute B4 I saw it on shelves out here

I use the one in the green bottle too!!! great stuff!!!!!! I use to get the regular one for curly hair but I think I like this one better :)

I used this one mixed with my Elucence MB as a leave in.... :wow: :lovedrool:

I used to use Tresemme conditioners all the time before I eliminated silicones. I was excited to hear about a natural version, but it contains alcohol and isopropyl alcohol, another ingredient I avoid. Let us know if it feels drying after a few uses; that would be my concern.

I did read the label and I saw that! I generally havent had too many problems w/ alcohols since I pre-cowash with grapeseed oil....but I will be on the lookout 4 excessive dryness.

This is what works my last nerve with some of these products... its a conditioner, why would you put alcohol in it? :wallbash:

Update: So I Co-washed again about 3 days later and my hair was very soft and manageable once again. I am currently weaved up and it is working well as my detangler for my Boh Braz hair

I can officially say this will be a staple product for me

:bump:

Bought a bottle of this stuff this wknd and it's the bomb. I have no need for a dominican rinse out conditioner when I have this. I used it this wknd as a rinse out when I washed out my deep conditioner, I also used it yesterday after I lightly pooed my hair. It felt so good in my hair that I had to go under the dryer for about 10 minutes just to put that good feeling to work .... It's a great conditioner .... It def gets

I bought a bottle of this a couple of weeks ago.... ironic that I found this thread today... I used a little last night to take down my first loc and liked the slight "slip" that it gave me....

I will continue to use this to assist with my take down. The real test will be once I have all my locs out.....

Thanks OP!!!
