BIG MISS: Motions Silk deep conditioner. It made my hair feel weird.
HIT: Roux Porosity Control

Hit: Detangling thoroughly with my fingers before using a comb. It was so much easier to detangle that way, and I lost almost no hair. I'm gonna do it from now on.

HIT: Applying GVP Reconstructor to hair after cowashing. Using this method I am able to AIRdry my hair straight.

MISS: Suave Professionals Conditioner, Shea Butter and Almond. I will be sticking to my ol' faithful VO5.

miss:
joico kpak smoothing balm - that ish had glitter in it. wtf i look like...mariah carey?
elucence moisturizing conditioner - made my hair feel gross
curlmart.com - SMH

hit:
nioxin thermal bliss protector - i got this in exchange for the joico at trade secret & its a great heat protectant because ive been practicing blowing out my hair with a brush so my hair wouldve probably been fried like chicken if i didnt have this.
taliah waajid protective mist bodifier - i LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff. i will be buying the bigger size.
elucence clarifying shampoo - good stuff. it does exactly what its supposed to do.
denman brushes - (D31 & D14) i was supposed to use the D31 for detangling & the D14 for blow drying but i forgot which was which so Ive been using the D31 for blow drying & the D14 for detangling. lol the D14 actually works great for detangling my TWA. go figure.
folica.com - great website to order from if you dont mind the prices. fast processing & shipping.

Hits:
Making my own daily moisturizer using 1 part favorite conditioner (Ojon Ultra Hydrating) and 3 parts water in a spray bottle.
AND
FX Tangle Out - Silk Detangler Spray. I think it's new. It's cheap and amazing. I'll be buying it all up as soon as I can before it gets discontinued...:)
AND
Prepooing with evoo, coconut oils and left over conditioner that kind of sucks on it's own.

Oh, and I had to come back and add Hicks Total Transformation Edges! It's amazing!

Misses:
S Curl Moisturizer... eeew gross.
Jane Carter Nourish and Shine... It's just grease that sits on my hair.
Nairobi Setting Mouse... Where's the shine?

Hits:
Kids Organic Olive Oil + Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizing Hair Lotion (or whateva, they need to shorten the dang name!)- this stuff detangles like a DREAM on my 4a hair. i wouldn't use it alone as a moisturizer though, because its not doing it for me in that area. i'll continue to use it up as a detangler though. its the bomb!

Mane and Tail Detangler- OH EM GEE. really softened my hair, and loosened my tangles. gave me enough slip to detangle, even though its just a liquid. totally wasn't expecting that. i had almost forgot about it, because it did crap for my transitioning hair. i decided to revisit last night though, and it was amazing.

Qhemet Biologics Amla and Heavy Olive Cream- felt really moisturizing and gave me the bomb definition on a test twistout. also gave me great hold for two strand twists on dry hair. on wet hair, i'm still on the fence. it didn't feel moisturizing at all when i used it on my wet hair. i feel like Hawaiian (sp?) Silky was the culprit though. i also don't care for the lack of smell, but the moisture is good. oh, and i don't like how it is so hard to spread. i need something that is going to spread around every teeny tiny coil in my 4a hair. when i applied it, it was mostly just where i put it. that stuff is thick.

ORS Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion- i really hated this stuff on my relaxed and transitioning hair: it just weighed my hair down, and made it really greasy. i revisited the product and used it to do some two strand twist. i like it. it moisturizes a bit and adds a lot of shine to my hair, and it doesn't weight it down or make it greasy at all. i remoisturized with it every night and didn't have to deal with any build up or anything. i like this stuff now. the only thing i dislike is the smell. i prefer products that smell like candy. ♥

Misses:
Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Conditioner- smelled really good, as most HE products do, but i cowashed with it and it left my hair dry. i won't revisit this.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration- i absolutely love the way this stuff smells; unfortunately, i can't use it to cowash anymore. it left a waxy buildup on my hair and i didn't like that. i loved this stuff the first time i bc'd, but back then i was still learning my hair. ♥

HIT: TRESemme' Silicone Free...this will definitely be in heavy rotation with my Elucence. :yep::up:

ON THE FENCE: Cantu Shea Butter Leave In conditioning repair cream. I used it as a leave in for my wet bun (towel dried about 80%) the only other product I used with it was the ECO Styler Gel and that was only on my edges to lay down the flyaways, my hair turned white around the edges where I applied the gel. I'm thinking I *may* have used to much Cantu, I'm going to use a little less and see what happens before I declare this a MISS. LittleLamb was right it sure doesn't "play well with other products"...I'm just not sure that I can use it by itself and actually like how my hair turns out. :ohwell: :look:

Revisited Hit: Suave Tropical Coconut Cond. for co-washes, since the weather is warmaing up I plan to co-wash 2 or 3x a week.

Miss- Fekkaii Shea Butter Mask conditioner and Ojon ultra hydrating conditioner

I combined both of these under my new steamer. My hair got hard and it felt like it wasnt rinsing out and I had to rewash. I think they were too thick or something, esp the Fekkai

Hits-
Revisited-qhemet amla and olive heavy cream- I have a very old jar of this stuff and a newer jar, i like the old jar, the new jar seems like they did not put enough olive oil in it and i will have to add my own.

Qhemet cocoa detangling ghee- i have not used it as a detangler, but i like it as a waterbased light moisturizer.

Hit: Cowash with Suave Professionals Aloe Vera & Ginseng!!!

This week was my first time seeing the naturals line. Now I can't wait to try the rest of them.
