is there a difference between manual scalp massages and the one's you buy from sharper image.
my friend uses one of those vibrating scalp massagers and she loves it. said it works just as well but i wanted to know is there really a difference between the two.

thanks imma newbie:grin:

I wanna know too cuz a couple weeks ago I was about to an electric toothbrush to help stimulate my thinning temples.

yea! i have the nuetrogena healthy skin rejuvenator the vibrating one. it has a smooth tip on it so i used it all over my head and i felt immediately relaxed but idk if its the same as when i do the manual way, which i dont feel anything happening except my scalp getting softer.

lol:lachen:

I don't think there's a difference. Unless you don't know how to give yourself a massage. Heck, even the scalp exercise that doesn't involve touching your head but is done by voluntarily flexing the muscles at the back of your head (which make your ears move back) and then relaxing is as good a massage as any.

Thank you! We are on the same page as I was JUST wondering this this past weekend. I have been doing manual scalp massages but I decided to get a vibrating one from Bed Bath & Beyond just to see if there would be any difference.

Bumping for thoughts ladies!
